Halloween was amazing!

No, amazing doesn't even cut it. It's was magical. My feet still hurt from all the dancing I did. I wasn't even angry when the following Monday my alarm clock rang. I merely turned it off jumping out of bed with a spring in my step.

Quickly getting dressed in a black crop top that had a mesh like corset at the bottom, black trousers with a cut out in the him, a black supreme beanie and vans. Humming to myself as I did so. I decided to straighten my hair. Something I rarely did.

While I was doing my makeup I called Laci.

"Hello?" Laci answered the phone sounding confused.
"Good morning!" I chirp.
"What has you so excited this morning. Usually you're not out of bed yet." She was right. Normally I snooze my alarm until the last minute. "Oh I don't know, I just felt like waking up early." She didnt even say anything, but her scoff told me she didn't believe me. "That's not why I called you." My stomach twisted in knots, or was it butterflies? I'm not sure."You were right!" I gasp out, happy to get that off of my chest. "I usually am, but what am I right about?"

Deciding to ignore her smart ass comment I just laugh. "Lace." I whisper. "I like him." God why am I whispering! I sound like a lovesick fool!

Silence.

Then a deafening, ear piercing squeal. "I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT!!! TELL. ME. EVERYTHING!" And I did, not missing a single detail. From the first time I felt the fluttering in my tummy, to him staying at my house when I was drunk, to the Halloween party. I could practically hear her bouncing up and down. She was that excited.

"Oh J this is so exciting! We're gonna go on double dates, be each other's maids of honor, aunties, everything!"
"Hold your horses girl. All I said is that I like him. I never said anything about marrying him! Besides we aren't even dating."
"Potato potahto. You have to tell him J!" The thought of telling Archer about my crush on him turned my butterflies into nervous knots. "I can't do that Lace. He doesn't like me anyways-"

"Puh-lease. Anyone can see clear as day that he likes you. Just tell him! You're literally perfect for each other, you are smokin gorgeous, and I know that my best friend is NOT a chicken." I bit my lip thinking about it. "You're right." I mumble. "I'm sorry what I didn't hear you?"

"You're right!" I yell into the phone. "So you tell him today! No more waiting around. Right when you see him you tell him!" It's been decided I guess.

So why did it feel so wrong to say it out loud.

Pulling into school I park my jeep rushing inside. I'd spent so long on the phone with Laci I was now running late. I'd hoped to get here early enough to find Archer and speak to him. But it could wait. I'd see him in class.

I was thankful that I didn't wear heels today. Running down the halls as fast as my legs would carry me to get to class on time. I ran through the door, panting and out of breath just as the bell rings. "Close call Miss Miller. Take your seat." My cheeks flame red as I rush to my seat.

The day just seemed to drag on. I had hoped to speak to Archer at lunch, but he didn't show. It was as if time was moving backwards and I hated it! I was currently in my advanced auto class. My favorite class, but I was to antsy to care. Only four more minutes until class was over and I could see Archer.

I could tell Archer.

I was terrified and excited all at once. We were supposed to be working on an engine rebuild right now. I couldn't focus. I was to busy staring at the clock. I glanced at my long forgotten tools then back at the clock.
