Ahana scoffed when she saw the few people leaving as soon as they got their kids.

"They are colleagues yet there isn't a single ounce of hesitation while leaving. And here we, the total strangers, are busting our asses off to help and save them," Ahana grumbled.

"Do you want to leave?" Neer asked in a whisper. He still wanted to help but he didn't want to force his sister to do something that might harm them in return.

Ahana glared at Neer, "And leave you alone to face everything?"

"We are a team. Even if it means being stupid together," Ahana spoke, while lightly patting Neer's shoulder.

"We will have to hurry. It will turn out more hazardous if the fire meets the current filled water," Neer said, looking warily at the building.

Ahana puffed out some air from her mouth, while thinking of a solution. She turned her face away from the building and looked at Neer with determination.

"I need to go inside the building to completely stop the fire. Make a way for me to go inside without getting touched by that dreaded water," Ahana demanded.

"Will you be fine?" Neer asked for reassurance, knowing that his sister was about to expose herself.

Ahana nodded assertively, blinking her eyes to assure him that she was tougher than he thought.

"Okay. I will make a way but make sure to come back before the hole in the ground fills up again.

"Creating a rainbow has taken away most of my energy. I can't concentrate on both creating a path and drying the hole. So you will have to speed things up," Neer warned Ahana, before closing his eyes to gather his energy.

Drying up all the water was impossible, at least with the energy level Neer had. So they had to resort to the alternatives.

The researchers stumbled back in shock as the huge flow of water suddenly parted into parallel lines, creating space between them.

Their eyes went wide when a girl jumped out of the bush behind them and ran towards the building. She ran between the two walls created by water.

Taking a chance, Reyansh, the team leader too ran behind her in hopes to bring back the children through this way.

He was just behind her as she climbed up the stairs hurriedly. Without even glancing at the man behind her, she kept running towards the above floors.

Reyansh stopped at the tenth floor. They had successfully left behind the floors filled with water. But now in front of them was a huge blazing fire. He looked here and there, not knowing what to do. Going up meant getting burned but he couldn't just leave after coming so close to the kids.

His mouth was left agape when the girl walked right into the fire fearlessly. He was screaming inside but no sound came out, as he was shocked beyond belief.

The girl was on fire, every part of her body was in flames yet there wasn't a single sound of her wailing in pain.

Still covered with flames, Ahana ran up the stairs, leaving greyish black particles behind as the fire died out on the tenth floor.

Fire started disappearing from the areas she passed, all the while joining her body. By the time Ahana reached the 13th floor, she looked like a walking disaster.

Scream left from the kids' mouth as they covered their faces in fear. Sameera stumbled a little in shock looking at the spectacle with wide eyes.

"Kids, this way," the team leader shouted and started guiding them downstairs.
