Dogs had surrounded the car, making it unable to move. The man honked, cursed, but the dogs just didn't seem to get away. The girl he had 'adopted' started crying, afraid after seeing so many dogs stopping them. If only she knew that they were here to protect her.

The man tried to start off the engine, hoping it would scare the dogs away, but nothing seemed to affect them. He was frustrated by what was happening, but then his attention went to a small kid standing behind the tree on a road side and watching the whole show. He tried calling him for help, but seeing the kid's expression, the man understood that he was the one behind this whole ordeal.

Avan had been standing and watching that man with keen eyes, behind the only tree that was available. He didn't even blink so as to not miss the man, in case he got away from the dogs.

Tejas had already gone back after bantering with Avan. He didn't want to leave the kid alone, but Avan made a valid point. Tejas didn't have any powers. If something happened, Tejas would just become an obstacle. Avan had to focus on his safety first rather than fighting with the enemy. Tejas knew he was going to get a lot of backlash after he returned alone, but Avan didn't leave him with any choice.

Although Avan knew he made the right choice by sending Tejas away, his heart pounded as he stood alone facing the enemy. Now that he was out in the open, things were going to become more difficult. Koko and his friends stood their ground, and kept annoying the man whilst becoming an effective barrier between Avan and that criminal.

However, that barrier didn't last long. The man finally got an idea and he immediately downloaded a sound in his mobile that was more than 25000 Hz. The dogs tried, but the deafening sound hurt their ears so much.

Avan became confused when he saw the condition of the dogs. He lost his connection with Koko too. Even with constant tries, he wasn't able to speak to the dogs and ask them about the problem. Avan stood there in bafflement, unaware of the sound that never reached his ears.

The dogs tried their best but alas! They lost the fight and had to run to get away from that sound, leaving Avan alone to fend for himself.

The man got out of the car with a smirk on his face and strolled towards Avan.

Avan looked here and there, trying to look for something that he could use, but nothing came into his mind. The lesser the distance between the man and Avan got, the more panicked he became. Avan could have used many things for his benefit, but fear clouded his judgment. It didn't help that it was the first time Avan had to use his powers to attack. Until now, he only used his powers to protect the people. It was always the fight against nature, but now it was against a person. A person who could think, sabotage and retaliate.

Avan closed his eyes as the man zeroed on him, but the attack never came. A loud whooshing sound was heard, followed by a scream that made Avan open his eyes.

In front of him was a mini tornado that had engulfed the man inside it. The man swirled inside that tornado, his body twisting and moving continuously in the whole 360°.

Avan instantly knew that the elements were near and Sameera Aunty had used her powers. He frowned when he couldn't see anything else other than the tornado.

As much as Avan was amazed by the sight, he had trouble finding balance. Slowly the wind was picking up, the mini tornado was getting larger. Avan tried to run away but the wind was much faster than him. His heart started pounding as he realized that he was also going to get engulfed. The tornado didn't see the difference between the good and bad.

Avan received a major shock when the car of that man turned upside down before getting caught by the mouth of the tornado. This just escalated his worries.

Fortunately, the girl inside the car had got down when she saw her adoptive father try to harm a small kid. She had got away this time, but it was getting difficult to maintain the balance. Having crouched down on all fours, she tried to stay still with her hands firmly planted on the road. However, as the pressure started increasing, her body got over worked and she ended up unconscious.

Avan finally got the idea of using the tree's branch to get away. The same tactic he had used when the research building was on fire. However, the problem was that the only tree present wasn't in good condition. The branches were on the verge of breaking. Some had already broken due to the wind's pressure.

Fortunately, there was one branch that was still usable. Unfortunately, there were two people. Avan wasn't called selfless just like that. It didn't take a second for him to give up his chance for the girl.

The branch extended and wrapped around the girl's waist. The branches gently pulled the fainted girl up and dropped her far away so that she couldn't be affected by the tornado. Going so far, took the toll on the tree and the last usable branch also ended up breaking apart.

Avan joined his hands and thanked God for his small yet beautiful life. One by one, he started praying for the well-being of all his loved ones, thinking he was about to die.

"Sameera, stop the tornado," Ahana yelled frantically.

The car was still on the rainbow, not at the highest point but still higher than the ground. They could see what was happening, but due to the pollution and tornado, Avan was unable to find them.

"You know I don't control Air. My anger might be the reason this tornado escalated, but I don't have any means to stop it," Sameera cried.

When Sameera had seen the man who along with his parents was equally responsible for what happened with her, try to hurt Avan, her fury got the best of her. Her element supported her anger and took over.

Everything would have been okay if only Avan wasn't there getting hurt along with that criminal.

"Ahana, fire," Neer shouted suddenly as the light bulb lit in his mind.

"What?" She asked incoherently, as her mind was occupied by Avan.

"No wind or water can destroy your fire. Ahana, quick, surround Avan by your fire. Even the tornado's father wouldn't be able to harm him," Neer explained hurriedly with excitement on his face.

Ahana didn't waste a second and focused all her attention towards Avan. Immediately, a ring of fire surrounded the small guy.

Avan yelped at the suddenness of it, but quickly calmed down when he saw the fire didn't touch him. It just surrounded him from all sides.

"Thank you, Ahana Didi," Avan yelled happily, looking nowhere in particular. "I take back my angry words, I still like you."

Ahana laughed and laughed so hard that tears started spilling out of her eyes. She didn't even realize when the small kid had made his place in her heart that was only reserved for her twin.

The car started shaking as the rainbow fluttered between being there and disappearing. With Ahana's attention on the fire ring, it was difficult to maintain the rainbow.

Gyaan stepped on the accelerator and rushed the car to reach the ground before the rainbow completely disappeared, making them fall from the height.

The tornado soon calmed down. The whole road looked disastrous but the elements and Gyaan had a huge smile on their faces.

Sameera moved forward to look at the unconscious man that had actively taken part in destroying her life.

"How nice it would have been if you were awake to see this," Sameera tutted before slapping that man harshly on his cheeks.

Gyaan went and brought the girl that man had adopted from the area that the branch had left her in.

It didn't take long for the police to arrive. They were baffled by the scene, but didn't think much of it as the disasters were the new norm of this world.

The lady police officers took the girl with them, promising to return her to the orphanage safely. While the other officers dragged the man away, letting Sameera know that a strict investigation would follow and the man and his parents would pay for his sins.

Sameera's heart finally felt light. There was a different kind of glow on her face. But her smile soon dropped when she saw Ravi sitting still in the passenger seat. She had a lot to explain and she could only hope that he would understand her.
