Ahana walked straight away to the now conscious Avan who was slurping on a juice packet, while sitting on a huge rock.
"Are you alright?" She asked, taking a seat beside him.
Avan nodded while still drinking his juice.
"How did you manage to call the twins here?" Gyaan asked Avan, although his eyes were on the twin's father whom he was healing.
"Humans come under my element too. Trees said that we come under the category of animals," Avan replied with a giggle.
Ahana snorted at the answer, but then chuckled seeing Avan's happiness.
"Sameera, help me out," Gyaan requested. He was too busy with the twin's father but they had to check the twin's mother too.
"Check the oxygen levels, and see if she is hurt somewhere. Also try to use your power to check if her lungs are doing okay," Gyaan guided Sameera.
Sameera raised her eyebrows at that. She wasn't that skilled.
"Just try." Gyaan rolled his eyes, making Sameera huff but nonetheless she followed his instructions.
Dhara kept hovering over Gyaan and Sameera, repeatedly asking them whether they were okay.
"Please stop. It is really hard to concentrate as it is," Sameera yelled, annoyed by Dhara's constant intrusion.
Aakash immediately came to take Dhara away, while apologizing on her behalf, "Sorry, really sorry for disturbing you. But please understand her worries too. They are like her parents, so she just can't help it."
Gyaan coughed as soon as Aakash muttered parents, glancing towards the twins who were trying their best to ignore their parents.
Even though Ahana was already focused on talking with Avan, she turned a little more to give him her undivided attention. Her sudden act gave away the fact that she was indeed listening to the conversations happening around her parents.
Gyaan shook his head at her obvious act, before focusing on her father.
Ahana glared at Avan, who was happily swinging his legs, oblivious of the scare he gave to everyone.
"Why would you go that far? You should have stopped after 2-3 tries," Ahana scolded him.
Avan pouted, "Trees told me that even if we tried everything, you were the only one who could actually save them."
"Why was saving them so important to you?" Ahana muttered in a low voice, but Avan heard her and answered her in a sweet voice, "Because they are your parents."
"So? You jeopardized your life just because they are my parents," Ahana spoke in a loud voice, startling Avan.
She couldn't just understand how anyone could put themselves at risk for someone else's family.
"I don't know what jaypourdice means. But you would have done the same if my mom and dad were in trouble," Avan said, before frowning in doubt, "You would have saved them, right?"
Ahana rolled her eyes seeing him frown at the slight possibility of her not saving his parents. Avan questioned her again, with a lot more urgency in his voice when she immediately didn't answer him.
"Yes, I will save them," Ahana answered, causing Avan to sigh in relief, "but it's different because you love and care for your parents, whereas I despise them," she said bluntly, not caring that her mother was listening to her every word.
"I still had to save them." Avan smiled. "They need to be alive for you to hate them."
Not only Ahana and Neer but everyone who heard him, stood there open-mouthed.
