Lowkey in Love
____________________________________

Despite being in Gryffindor, I have basically been a Slytherin for the past few weeks, and I am not complaining about it at all.

None of my real housemates have bothered talking to me, so I basically live in the Slytherin house which could not be more fun. Almost every night, there is some sort of party, and I get to live with the people that I really enjoy.

However, with avoiding my real housemates and all, I decided to quit Quidditch because I do not know how I would play with a bunch of people who won't even bother talking to me.

So, with it being a Quidditch weekend, I was just about to make my way down to the stadium for the Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff game, but I noticed some first year Gryffindors acting weird as they climbed a staircase to one of the upper floors. Before dashing up the stairs, I watched them from the Great Hall, they glanced in every direction.

"Pans, come on," I said.

"But the match!"

"This will take two minutes. Come on," I replied as I grabbed her arm and pulled her out of her seat.

Reluctantly, she followed me and we hurried upstairs, but I skidded to a stop and she slammed right into my back.

"I swear," she bit while I pulled her behind a wall.

"Did you hear that?" someone asked. It was one of the first years because they are the reason Pansy and I are hiding behind a wall right now.

"No. Let's go. We don't want to be late," said another one of the first years.

Their footsteps faded down the corridor and Pansy and I followed them once more.

"Do you think they are a part of that group of students who are sneaking around?" Pansy whispered.

"Most likely," I whispered back as we hid behind a corner since they were climbing up more staircases which led way up into the castle.

We walked quietly up the stairs and watched from behind another corner as the first years turned down one final corridor before coming to a stop at a wall.

"Maybe not actually," I whispered as one of them began to pace back and forth.

After the third time of pacing, he stopped. Although, I felt my breath hitch as a door suddenly appeared.

The first years shared excited glances before slipping inside.

I think both Pansy and I were a little shocked at first because neither of us moved until we shared glances. We took off in the direction of the door, but as we neared, it seemed to get smaller and smaller. Just as we reached it, it was the size of a mouse hole.

"Did we just find their hideout?" I questioned.

"I think so, but what is this place?" she asked.

"No clue... but we should probably get to the match. Maybe Draco or Blaise can help us figure it out later," I said as we began to hurry back to the main part of the castle.

A while later, it was dumping snow on us as we cheered for the Slytherin team.

Blaise was racking up a bunch of points by scoring, and Draco was working on pursuing the snitch, so Pansy and I were happy.

"We got so lucky," she gushed as Blaise earned some more points.

I nodded in agreement just as the crowd seemed to come alive with excitement. Draco and the Hufflepuff Seeker were both nose-diving down to the ground while bumping shoulders in attempts to throw the other off the path of the snitch.

As they neared the ground, the Hufflepuff Seeker slacked off, which gave Draco an easy path to the Snitch. Within seconds of hitting the ground, it appeared that Draco caught the Snitch.

He steered his broom away from the ground and everyone in the Slytherin section burst into cheers.

As Draco took a victory lap around the stadium, he pointed to me while wearing a big smile. "For you, love," he mouthed.

A while later, we were all in the Slytherin Common Room when the Quidditch boys burst inside.

Cheers erupted from everyone as they all walked inside. Draco came right up to where I sat and kissed me softly.

"Good game. Shame you won't ever get to play me because I would kick your ass," I commented.

Draco laughed. "Darling, must I remind you that you literally fell for me in a game last year?"

"No need to call me out like that," I mumbled, but he laughed once more and kissed the top of my head.

A while later, I danced over to Pansy since a party may or may not have broken out after the victory.

"When s-should we tell everyone about what w-we saw today?" she asked, stuttering slightly as she spoke due to being drunk.

"Probably when you can stand up straight," I giggled.

"Good idea!" she exclaimed before stumbling off to Blaise.

I laughed softly and wandered back over to Draco who was talking and laughing with some of his Quidditch teammates. He said nothing as I approached, but he smiled down at me and wrapped an arm around my waist. This action drew whoops and cheers from the players.

"Oi! Malfoy, you're a softie now!" cried Miles Bletchley.

To my surprise, Draco did not try to push me away or anything. He just tightened his grip around my waist. "Maybe you'll understand when you can finally make a girl come back for a second date," Draco bit.

Everyone in the group started to laugh while Miles glared at Draco, but could not seem to find anything else to say. With that, Draco pulled me away from the group.

"How are you?" he asked as we got comfortable on one of the couches.

"I'm really good," I responded because that was the truth. I feel understood in this house, and I feel as though I have someone by my side no matter what. To be real, I only miss Fred and George, but if they are going to act like everyone else, then so be it.

"That's good. I'm glad."
