Smell Me? Or Smell Me not?

Time seemed to go by at a crawl as I sat in the dungeons. I was not sure who else, other than Snape, knew I was down here. Maybe the entire Dark Side did, and they were plotting how to kill me, or only Snape knew of me being locked away.
However, my question was soon answered.
The loud clanging of the metal bars of my cell awoke me from my restless sleep. I sat up and glared at whoever dared to interrupt my sleep.
It was Peter Pettigrew. Traitor.
I grimaced at his touch. He pulled me upstairs and down the familiar path to the meeting room. As we walked, I prepared for myself to be humiliated in front of all the Death Eaters by Voldemort... but no.
I was shoved into the meeting room, which was vacant (except for Voldemort and Nagini, of course).
"Alright, let's make this quick," I commented as I flopped down in the opposite chair that he sat in.
His snake-like eyes glazed over me before he chuckled. "You think I'm going to kill you?"
"Obviously," I shot back, taking no time to consider his tone or word choice.
Voldemort shook his head at me and stood up from his seat. He began to walk around the table.
"I know you have a lot of pain built up in you," he said, "And with that pain, comes even more anger. Yes?"
I shrugged. "I have never really taken time to analyze my feelings because it's not like they matter to anyone else," I responded.
He sighed a breathy sigh. "You make things so difficult... Why do you think I brought you up here today?"
"To kill me," I replied quickly. I was so sure that my response was automated.
"No!" he cried. "I want to give you a chance."
I stayed silent because I was uninterested. Nothing works out for me so why would I want to take this 'chance?'
Seeing I was not going to respond Voldemort said, "This can be an opportunity for you to get back at everyone... Draco, Harry, your friends... everyone."
"What's my other option?"
He seemed to have a glint in his eye for a split second. "I won't kill you. Instead, I'll lock you up in that cell for the rest of your life, and would you really want that?"
At this point, I would rather be dead than here. If I were dead, I could be with those who never disappointed me: my parents and Sirius. Ultimately, living in the cell was the biggest loss I could take.
"How did you know that is exactly what I don't want?" I asked.
"I can read your mind, Y/n. Did you forget?"
Shivers ran up and down my spine. Who knows what else he has found out about me only just from reading my thoughts. Probably everything.
"So," he said, "What's it going to be?"
I sat back in my chair. "You tell me what I'm getting myself into first," I replied.
"Very well then."
He reached into his robe pocket and pulled out my wand that Snape had taken from me upon my arrival at the manor.
"You will get this back so you can get me the Elder Wand," he explained.
"So the same thing as last time? Mend the Cabinet and kill Dumbledore?"
"Not quite," he said as he set my wand down on the table before me. "I want you to just go in. I need that wand and clearly Draco is too incompetent to do it himself."
