Do all Good Things Come to an End?

"Where have you been, I haven't seen you anywhere," said Draco when I entered the Great Hall a couple of days later.

"Went home for a few days," I responded.

When the D.A. had been ratted out, I asked Sirius to let me stay with him for a few days because one, I did not want to be around all the smug Slytherins, and two, I would feel too horrible watching what my friends are going through despite me trying to help.

"And you didn't bother telling me?"

I shrugged. "It was sorta last minute. Sorry."

He wore a sneer. I don't understand why he always gets in such pissy moods.

"...Anyways, I need to catch up on some work," I said after a moment of silence. "See you later?"

"There's a party tonight, Slytherin, of course. I wanted to invite you but..."

"But what?" I asked, crossing my arms.

Draco was honestly getting on my nerves.

"Well, seeing your loyalties are appearing to shift to where they originally were, I don't see the point."

I laughed sarcastically. This hard-headed, ass hole. "All I said is I was going to do homework."

"That can be a cover-up for cheating on me."

My eyes went wide. "Is that really what you think of me?" I hissed.

He nodded honestly. "Yes, Y/n. Have you seen the way you are with the Weaslebee Twins?"

"You're the one who was literally fucking other girls while trying to get with me."

"That was different," he said. "We didn't have a title."

"And you think we do now? Well, whatever it is, it needs to be updated because whatever this is," I said while pointing between us, "it's over. Go be a little man-whore again, Malfoy. I know you missed those mediocre hook-ups."

Before he could say anything more, I stormed off, shoving through the groups of people who were heading to the Great Hall for dinner, and all the way up to the Gryffindor common room where I slammed right into Fred and George.

I burst into tears the second I stumbled into George's arms. He did not say anything. He just stroked my hair and led me over to one of the old couches.

"Darling, what happened?" asked Fred as he sat beside us.

"I should have listened," I said into George's chest.

"About? There's a lot of stupid things we have tried preventing you from doing," said Fred.

I laughed softly and glanced over at him. He was smiling. "I'm the stupid one?"

"I mean yeah, you just went through that rebellious phase where you were actually living in Slytherin, and then you were dating Malfoy," said George.

"Yeah, Malfoy and I, I don't know what we are, but whatever we are, that's definitely not the case anymore," I mumbled.

"You're crying over Malfoy!?" they exclaimed at the same time.

I groaned and flopped back onto the couch. "Well, thanks. When you put it that way, I feel even more stupid!"

George and Fred both grinned. "It's okay, we both still love you despite your stupidity," Fred said, "but what happened?"

"I don't even know! He just got mad since I did not tell him I was at home the last few days, and then he accused me of being a cheater. Like, when have I ever shown signs of cheating!?" I ranted.

They both chuckled. "Glad you finally came to your senses," said George.

"Ugh. Me too. I must have been on a love potion or something," I said.

"Good chances of that. No way would someone ever be able to love Draco Malfoy," Fred chuckled.

"Damn straight."

"You know what, I think I should get those galleons back considering she broke up with you that quickly," said Theo as I sat down across from him and my friends at the Slytherin table.

"Shut the hell up. A bet is a bet and I won," I spat.

"Barely considering she just flat-out called you out on all your shit," said Pansy.

I glared at her. "Who's side are you on?"

She smiled at me. "Y/n's, obviously. Babe has a point. You are a whore."

Blaise and Theo both nodded in agreement but one cold, hard, dirty look from me made them freeze.

"My father will hear about this," I jeered.

Pansy raised an eyebrow. What pisses me off about her is she never backs down to me.

"About what? About how you are known for all the girls you sleep with, and that's why your girlfriend broke up with you?" she said comically.

"No," I replied dryly, but when I went to give her my reason, I went silent because I could not think of anything.

She wore a knowing smirk. "Yep! That's what I thought."

"Oh, please, Parkinson. I'm sure you have gone through a phase like that before," I snapped.

Pansy shrugged. "No, I haven't actually. When I find someone, I stick with them. It's as simple as that," she replied.

I scoffed and stood up from the table. I was not in the mood for getting called out right now.

"And where are you off to, Blondie?" asked Theo.

"To get ready for the party. If I'm going to be single, I at least want to make sure I look good."

"Point proven," Pansy said.

At the same time as she spoke, so did Theo. "Gryffindor is hosting instead."

"Since when do we cancel a party because 'Gryffindor is hosting instead?'" I asked.

"Why not?" asked Pansy.

"I swear, everything you three do is to spite me," I seethed as I left the hall.
