A Change for the Better
_________________________________After some convincing, Fred and George were able to get Draco and I to go to the Order.
Yes, you heard me right. The Order.
The boy who was heir to the Dark Side and the girl who swore to never return to these people are going right to them to rat out the Dark Side.
What we're doing is obviously very dangerous, but done correctly, and we won't find ourselves being tied in with the Dark Side anymore.
I prayed all would go well and they would accept us with open arms. Fred and George did... so maybe I had no reason to be worried.
We made our way to the front door of the Burrow with Fred and George. They walked right in, and Draco and I followed behind.
I glanced at Draco. He looked intimidated, though I do not blame him. I took his hand and followed the Twins deeper into the Burrow.
Fred and George had warned their parents of our visit prior to us coming because it would not be a good idea for us to spontaneously show up.
However, I was surprised that Mrs. Weasley was so open to greeting me. I would have expected dirty looks all around. She pulled me in for a big hug though.
"Oh, Y/n! What happened? Are you alright? I'm so sorry about everything," she said as I tentatively hugged her back.
"It's okay... so you don't hate me?"
She shook her head and had tears in her eyes. "No, no. I am just so happy you are back."
I felt all my stress wash away as she cupped my face with her warm hands. Oh, how I love the Weasley family. How did I ever take their love for granted?
Next, I greeted Aurthur before introducing Draco to them.
As that introduction went forth, it was obviously awkward considering the tension. However, time will go by and I know they will learn to get along.
Draco has changed so much. He no longer believes purebloods are superior or that people with less money are not equal.
Working for Voldemort has really changed his outlook on life and I could not be happier for him.
After he finished talking, I squeezed his hand softly. "Are you okay?" I whispered.
His face remained emotionless as he nodded. "Yes..."
I stood on my tippy toes to place a gentle kiss on his lips before leading him back upstairs.
Basically, the plan was for us to attend the meeting with Voldemort tonight, because he holds them every other week. There just so happens to be one tonight.
After the meeting, we plan to speak to Narcissa about the baby. However, we aren't going to tell her about meeting with the Order, which will be soon.
It is very dangerous, but we are both tired of living in an evil world. Therefore, it is our turn to take action, and that is exactly what we will be doing.
So, hours later, we returned to Malfoy Manor for the meeting. It was brief, though we did listen to Voldemort ramble on and on about how Harry is not at Hogwarts, which makes life much more difficult.
As he spoke, Draco and I shared glances because we in fact, know what Harry is doing.
But when the meeting ended, we made our way upstairs, and to his parent's room, in which Narcissa had hurried off to.
