Prior to the weekly Inquisitorial Squad meeting, I was walking to Umbridge's room when I actually bumped into Fred and George. It was obvious they were setting up some kind of prank.

"Y/n," Fred said.

"Hmm?" I hummed as I pulled to a stop rather than walking past them.

"Why did you join them?" he asked while motioning towards the badge on my robe.

"Well, why wouldn't I? At least they didn't leave me out of everything. You lot have been sneaking around for so long now, and behind my back. I thought we were friends."

They both stopped what they were doing and approached me slowly. "But this isn't you... joining the Slytherins," George said.

"They actually care about me. Why wouldn't I befriend them?"

"Sure... but we were going to tell you about what's going on, but then you joined Umbridge so it probably isn't for the best," Fred said.

The truth is, I love the twins, and I also know what Umbridge is planning. I would hate to see George and Fred get in trouble when they are trying to be reasonable.

"Here," I said, "I have information that I was going to tell Umbridge tonight, however, if you tell me exactly what is going on, I will keep my mouth shut."

The two of them shared glances but Fred shook his head and his next words made my stomach drop. "No. You have proved where your loyalties lie," he jeered before walking off with George.

My mouth dropped open but I quickly shut it. After everything, and me trying to be reasonable! And that's how I get treated.

Although, I decided to shake that interaction off and hurried on my way to Umbridge's. When I arrived, the rest of the squad had already taken their seats, so I found mine between Draco and Pansy.

However, after speaking with the twins, no matter how mad I was at Fred for what he said to me, I was not going to get them in trouble.

"Pans," I whispered. "Turns out those students aren't associated with those students sneaking around."

I knew her plan was to announce our finding today, but she did not even ask twice about my lie.

"Alright. I figured," she whispered back.

So, a while later, as we were leaving the meeting, Draco came up beside me and wrapped an arm around my waist.

"Hi, lovely," he said as I stopped all together and turned my body to his.

He smiled softly as I reached my hand around his neck so I could draw his lips to mine. We shared a small kiss which Blaise and Pansy just so happened to walk up on.

"Aww! Blaise, look at how cute!" Pansy exclaimed.

I was laughing, but Draco, his cheeks were bright red. "Lighten up, Malfoy, it's okay to show that you like me," I giggled.

"Yeah, but I prefer to do that in more private matters," he murmured into my ear.

Despite Blaise and Pansy not hearing what he has said, my cheeks still turned red.

"Y/n, it's okay to show that you like me," he mimicked.

"Gross," Blaise mumbled.

Draco stuck up his middle finger towards Blaise and then pulled me down the hallway.

Days later, I was walking to Umbridge's room yet again, but this time, with Cho Chang.

I made a pact with myself and that was not to rat out the students, but for them to rat themselves out.

Umbridge has been conducting interviews with truth potions, but I got her there, too. At this point, I'm not even apart of her stupid squad, and yet none of my friends are smart enough to notice my work.

Anyways, Umbridge had gotten a potion from Snape. In all actuality, I'm pretty sure the potion he gave her is fake, but just to be safe, I switched it out with water.

So, when I entered her office, she smiled proudly. "Very good, thank you, Y/n. Could you hand me a potion, dear?"

Nodding, I walked over to the cabinet in the corner of her room and grabbed one of the bottles which I knew was full of water. Laughing softly to myself, I handed it to her before retiring to the corner of the room so I could watch Umbridge lose, again.

"Miss Chang, just take three sips," said Umbridge.

Surprisingly, Cho wasted no time. Usually, they all argue before taking the serum.

"Very good. Now, are you a part of the group that has been sneaking around?"

To my surprise, Cho answered with 'yes'.

Umbridge was also surprised because that was the first 'yes' she had gotten during questioning. She seemed unsure of what to ask next.

"Very well then, and who would you say this group includes?"

It was like Cho was wanting to expose the students because she answered.

"Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna... basically all the houses except Slytherin," she responded.

I had switched out the potion. Why was she telling the truth? Umbridge is by far too stupid to make her own potion.

"Very good," said Umbridge with a smile. "And where have you all been meeting?"

"In the Room of Requirement, to practice defensive spells. They should be there right now."

A smile spread onto Umbridge's face. For all she knows, Cho could be lying, but that is the most information someone has ever given.

However, I may not know much about the students sneaking around, but I know for a fact she just exposed them.

"Y/n!" Umbridge exclaimed, "gather the squad!"

I rolled my eyes and spun on my heel. This was not going to look good for Harry or all of them. Though, it was not my fault.
