now with his abilities, it didn't give hinata much of a choice but to submit. either he gives in or doesn't, shirabu won't ignore hinata's stubbornness.
even if he so eagerly wants to take over hinata's mind, he still pities him. so shirabu gives hinata time to slowly build a bond with his tormentor, the torture was never physical. and it made hinata think.
the change of behavior was noticeable, giving shirabu some form of hope. "good boy."
