Authors POV
Y/n has her arrow still pointed at Merle since he's on top of T-Dog with a gun to his face.
Everyone standing anxiously around the two men hoping to stop the conflict.
"Yeah! All right! We're gonna have ourselves a little powwow, huh? Talk about who's in charge. I vote me. Anybody else? Huh? Democracy time, y'all. Show of hands, huh? All in favor? Huh? Come on. Let's see 'em. Oh, come on. All in favor? Yeah. That's good. Now that means I'm the boss, right? Yeah. Anybody else? Hmm? Anybody?"
"Girly you best get that outta my face before I mess you up as well too." Merle looking at y/n knowing damn well she read his lips. Y/n tightened her grip on the bow, knuckles turing white.
"Yeah." Rick says hitting Merle with the butt of his gun knocking him off T-Dog and handcuffing him to a pipe.
"Who the hell are you, man?!" "Officer friendly. Look here, Merle. Things are different now. There are no n***** anymore. No dumb-ass-shit, inbred white-trash fools either. Only dark meat and white meat. There's us and the dead. We survive this by pulling together, not apart." Rick says.
Y/n finally lowering and putting away her arrow. Going over to T-Dog to see is he had any other injuries that Merle might have inflicted on him.
"Screw you, man." "I can see you make a habit of missing the point." "Yeah? Well, screw you twice." Merle feeling a bit of pain on his head where Rick hit him.
"Ought to be polite to a man with a gun." Rick says to Merle while cocking his gun. "Only common sense."
"You wouldn't. You're a cop." "All I am anymore is a man looking for his wife and son. Anybody that gets in the way of that is gonna lose. I'll give you a moment to think about that. Got some on your nose there." Rick says flicking Merles nose.
"What're gonna do. Arrest me." Merle says while laughing at his own joke.
Rick throws Merles little bag of drugs off the building. And goes over to T-Dog and y/n seeing if they were okay.
"Hey! What are you doing? Man, that was my stuff! Hey! If I get loose, you'd better pray... Yeah, you hear me, you pig?! You hear me?!" "Yeah your voice carries."
"You hear me you filthy pig!" Merle yells to Rick.
"You're not Atlanta P.D. Where you from?" Morales asking Rick. "Up the road a ways." "Well, officer friendly from up the road a ways, welcome to the big city." Morales says
Y/n gives T-Dog her water so help him in any way she could. Y/n turns towards Merle making sure he hasn't gotten out of the cuffs.
Everyone looks over the edge of the building to see if there is an escape route. "My God, it's like Times Square down there." Andrea says to no one.
"How's that signal?" "Weak, like Dixon's brain." "Keep trying." Merle flips off T-Dog after hearing him say that.
"Why? There's nothing they can do. Not a damn thing." Andrea says. Y/n looks at feeling the negative energy coming off her and shaking her head.
"Got some people outside the city is all. There's no refugee center. That's a pipe dream." "Then she's right. We're on our own. It's up to us to find a way out." Rick says.
"Good luck with that. These streets ain't safe in this part of town from what I hear. Ain't that right, sugar tits? Hey, honeybunch, what say you get me out of these cuffs, we go off somewhere and bump some uglies? Gonna die anyway."
"I'd rather." Andrea says to Merle. "The streets ain't safe. Now there's an understatement." Morales telling Rick.
Y/n taps Rick and shows her notepad saying 'what about under the streets?'
"What about under the streets? The sewers?" Rick agreeing to y/n suggestion. Morales looks at her notepad and gives her a thumbs up.
