50. Infested

Daryl and the others were waiting for Tyresse since he wanted to go check in on his sister to make sure she was okay. You could see Rosco pacing back and forth infront of your cell, but for some reason you had a feeling in your chest and it just didn't sit right with you.

"Everything look all right?"

"yeah", Daryl replied to bob checking the car to make sure they had everything they needed for the long drive. "It's the fastest one we got."

Daryl noticed bob staring at the car not saying a word, "Hey, you alright?" he breaks the silence turning towards bob. "You sure you want me coming along?"

Daryl pulls out a piece of paper pointing towards a word, and when bob says it Daryl tells him they for sure needed him. Then Tyresse comes outside with Daryl, and Bob next to the car, "You got room for one more?"

"Hell yeah" Daryl replies watching Ty leave to go get his gear. "How's Y/n, heard she got up and had a talk with ya'll?" Daryl just stared looking down at his feet, "yeah she fine, she gonna be fine when we get them meds." Bob just nodded looking down at the ground.

Rosco went outside to go stretch his legs, he looked back at you and went out, when he got outside he jumped when Carol had knocked over the water barrel and sat down crying. He goes up to her and sits next to Carol feeling how sad she was. Carol was startled when Rosco licked her hand putting his head on her knee, she pets him thinking to herself.

You had woken up from your nap seeing Rosco wasn't there, deciding to sit up you felt a kick inside your stomach. Smiling you put your hand where the baby kicked, waiting for about a minute the baby kicked again, "Hey baby, how you doing. Don't worry pa will go get some medicine for us, for everyone", then you felt a couple cute little kicks thinking the baby was happy about Daryl.

Hershal had just came back from the woods getting some berries to slow down the sickness, and give everyone more time. Maggie was clearly upset about her dad going by himself, but who could blame her, Glenn was sick, Beth had Judith, and you expecially were worrying her.

everyone went their separate ways to do anything to help the others, Rick went back over the spot where Tyresse found Karen and David. He looks at the burnt blood picking up a piece of a burnt stick, he looks towards the streak marks leading back inside the room, he squats down inspecting the door seeing still fresh blood and puts his hand up up towards it, but while looking at it the handprint was a bit smaller than his hand.

Rick gets up and went to go check up on you, but realized he didn't know where in the prison Daryl put you in. Rosco came up from behind Rick nipping at his heel, "Hey boy" he kneels down to pet him, "where's Y/N, huh where she at", Rosco then starts walking away but stops to look at Rick, then goes back to walking away. Rick just follows him to your cell, he lays down next to your sleeping form.

Rick taps your shoulder to not alert you, opening your eyes to see Rick and Rosco with you placing a had on the dogs head. "Y/n I uhh I need to tell ya something", "what is it?".

He was hesitant to say what he needed to say because he didn't know what would happen next, "I think I know who killed Karen and David", it took a second to finally realize what he said, you also had a hunch on who did too. "I think I do too". Rick just looks at you, to the floor, and then back at you. "It was Carol."

It was silent for awhile, neither of you knew what to say, many thoughts were going through your minds all at once and it wasn't easy to keep a level head in your condition. "Talk to her, ask her why she did it. I'm sure she had her reasons, but..still why, why did she do it and acted like she didn't. Do what you have to, but you will be the one to tell Daryl." Rick nods his head and leaves.

Some time passes and you decided to get up even though it would make your condition worse, but your motherly instincts were kicking in. Struggling to stay standing on your own you used the walk to help keep you up. Passing cell block A spotting some people who were highly contagious coughing, and spitting up blood. You mentally hoped that it soundly come to that for you.

Wanting to change clothes you were almost there to you and Daryl's cell to grab some. Until Carl passed by with Rosco, "Y/n what the hell are you doing up, you're supposed to be resting!" He frantically yelled going over to your side. You are about to say something until you started coughing vigorously holding into Carls shoulder and him helping you stay standing.

'Im getting hot I need shorts', signing to Carl, he nods grabbing a pair and some other clothes for you to change into. "We need you to get back into your cell, Daryl will flip if he knew what you did". Laughing at the comment you patted his shoulder.

Finally getting you back into your cell, 'Now stay in your cell please, we need you y/n. Love you'. Carl signs to you with a serious face, raising your hand up he kneels down for you to touch his face, you smile at him and put your hand back on your belly.

Daryl and the others were still on the road to the place to get the meds, it was quiet the whole way, Daryl's decided to brake it by telling Michoone that she wasn't running off and that he'd be with her still looking for the governor. He still wanted to find for what he did to you, and his brother. It was quiet again, Daryl was looking for a cd but Tyresee spoke up. "Hey man, soo how did you and Y/n meet." His question took Daryl by surprise but decided to answer anyway.
"First time I meet her was when me and ma brother were goin huntin for our last group we had. Spotted deer, shot it but saw another arrow got the deer too, that's when Rosco come up to get her arrow and that's when I first met her"

Tyresee nods and was about to ask another question until there was a voice coming form the radio. "Survive—— Terminus—help— here"

Everyone was focused on the radio not noticing the walker right in-front of them, Daryl hits and starts swerving to not hit anymore walkers, until stopping completely seeing the campus completely infested with walkers.

Hershel walks by your cell seeing your sleeping form. He taps your shoulder needing you to wake up, fluttering your eyes open to see him, he helps you up having a cup in his hand.

"Drink this it will help bring down the fever a little bit.", 'thank you'. Taking the cup from Hershel bringing the cup to your lips drinking to berry smelled liquid. After finishing the drink you thank him again, he smiles and brings out his thethoscope listening to your breathing. He then brings us down to your belly, "Well your creating sounds clouded but otherwise alright, and your baby has a strong heartbeat. Overall you sound good and let's hope they get back in time with the meds."
'Me too, thank you again Hershel', "My pleasure", he gets up petting Rosco at the front door way but turns around facing you. "Now don't go around wandering again.". Letting out a small huff you nod your head acknowledging him.

Yo what is up peeps sorry if I've been M.I.A for awhile and not posting anything for the longest time, but I will get back on track to write a chapter.
