Everyone is now in the living room discussing on Randells execution. Y/n and Daryl were late since both had taken a nap in y/n's tent.
Carol standing in front of the wood door, Glenn sitting in a chair with his down having a very nervous feeling, Dale standing next to Glenn not happy but hoping everyone would change their minds. Hershal sitting on the couch with Maggie, T-Dog, Patricia, Andrea, Shane all standing or sitting infront of the fire place. Daryl standing away from everyone but not too far, and you standing Infront of Daryl secretly having your hands behind your back holding Daryl's hand as well.
While Rosco is pulling on Carl's shirt to get him out of the room.
It was silent for awhile until Glenn spoke up.
"So how do we do this? Just take a vote?"
"Does it have to be unanimous?"
"How about majority rules?"
"Well, let's-- let's just see where everybody stands, then we can talk through the options."
"Well, where I sit, there's only one way to move forward."
Dale cuts in with an angry expression "killing him, right? I mean, why even bother to even take a vote? It's clear which way the wind's blowing."
"Well, if people believe we should spare him, I wanna know."
"Well, I can tell you it's a small group-- Maybe just me, Glenn and Y/n." Dale said looking at you with a sad but proud expression and you did the same.
Until Glenn spoke up
"Look, I-- I think you're pretty much right about everything, all the time, but this--"
Dale cuts him off "They've got you scared!"
"He's not one of us. And we've-- we've lost too many people already" Glenn says not making eye contact with Dale.
You were also a little disappointed, but Glenn still has alot to learn.
Dale points at Maggie and Hershal hoping to get an answer "How about you? Do you agree with this?"
"Couldn't we continue keeping him prisoner?" Maggie suggested
"Jus' another mouth ta feed" Dale interjects. You turned around to look at him but turned back facing everyone else.
Hershal brought up about how it'll probably be a lean winter and Lori aslo brought up to ration better on food. Then everyone was arguing about who would want to watch over the boy and of course Dale volunteered to do it but Rick didn't want anybody around him.
All the arguing, and people raising thier voice was hurting your ears, the ringing from the hearing aids didn't help, and also that you were shaking a little bit wanting the group to notice, but Daryl did.
He put his hand on your shoulder and standing next to you taking your shaking hand gently caressing it to calm you down. The gentle touch reminded you of your older brother whenever your parents would fight but since you were born deaf with awful hearing aids back then it didn't help the bad memories flowing into your mind.
"Stop it!" You yelled getting everyone's attention and making Daryl jump too.
You lifted your head to see everyone one looking at you with shocked faces. Stepping forward looking at Dale then back to everyone else waiting for you to say or sign something.
Taking a deep breath, lifting your arms up ready to sign and say what you want the group to understand.
"Why does it matter i-if he joins us or not. I'm willing to watch him with Dale too. His group left him to die you saw them Rick, you also saw them leave too Hershal.. and Glenn." You pause looking at him with sad eyes. "You saw them leave him too. I wasn't the only one who saw them leave."
