Time passed very quickly, Beth had been taken from by a mysterious car with a Red Cross on the back window. Daryl should have seen it coming, should have known to have a plan to escape when those walkers showed up.

He had chased after the car but stopped at a crossroad sitting down. The last bit of hope had vanished, thought he could find you with your baby. He let himself get too much into the hope, no thanks to Beth, but he didn't blame her.

He took out the picture of you in your cell smiling along with Rosco at your side licking your small baby belly.

He couldn't move, couldn't think, he'd given up right there just staring the picture on the ground.

A couple hours have passed, Daryl was still sitting in the same spot, then a pair of black boots came in his line of vision with a shot gun in hand.

"Well looky here." The man spoke, Daryl didn't care to answer him but lifted his head seeing other guys surrounding him.

The man walks up to him but Daryl was quick to land a punch at him grabbing his crossbow aiming it at him. The other guys raised their weapons too, but the leader holds his hand up.

"Dammit hold up!" The leader still on the ground.

"I'm claiming the vest." One of them said holding a bow and arrow, then looks down seeing the picture upside down.

He picks it up flipping it over. "Hot damn is this girl fine. Maybe knock her another baby huh? Damn that dog is huge. Claimin this."

Daryl's blood was boiling at the guys comment, but kept his focus on the leader. The grey ring dangling from Daryl's neck. "Claim that ring" a second said.

"Hold up." He wipes the blood from his nose, laughing. Daryl didn't find it funny at all, he just wanted to be left alone.

He gets up wiping his nose for the last time, "A bow man. I respect that."

Daryl was still on guard with his finger on the trigger, he didn't care if he was out numbered, he would find a way.

"See a man with a riffle, could have been a photographer, soccer coach back in the day. But a bow man's a bow man through and through."

"You get yourself into some trouble partner?" The one who wanted the vest asked laughing, Daryl didn't face him but kept his bow aiming at the leader. "Give me tha picture back."

"Hell no I already damn claimed it." He counters back. "Man just give it to him."

He stomps his foot, giving the picture back to Daryl. "Names joe."

"Daryl."
~
"Tell me something Daryl. That girl in the picture, mind if I have some of that."

Daryl grips his knife unsheathing it, grip tight on the handle. "That's ma wife jackass. She probably kill you before ya get a word in."

"Just saying girls like her ain't gonna survive much longer."

"Easy fellas easy." Joe puts his arm in-front of Daryl before he could lunge forward at Len.

Daryl was walking behind the claimers, unaware of Len having fired an arrow for some unknown reason.
~
"I need you two to run!" You seethed out pulling the arrow out of your foot, a painful yell escaped your lips.

"We are not leaving you." Joaquín takes his gun out aiming at the direction the arrow came from, Luciana helping you to stand up, and she too didn't want to leave you.

"Dammit just leave, I'll hold them off!"
"I'm not leaving you ma!" Your eyes widened at Joaquin's last word, but was quickly put back in reality when Luciana tapped your arm frantically pointing at a group of men running towards you.

Standing up quickly taking an arrow from your quiver aiming it at the men, the two kids including you were back to back seeing them surround you.

You fired your arrow, missing your target. Sweat rolled down your face, your hands were also sweating, but you had to protect your two kids.

"That close enough gringos!" Yelling at them and turning around to look at them. You took the arrow in your left and and your knife in the right slashing the air.

"Now now ma'am you best be carful, you are with child, and ya got two other kids to worry about." Joe points out to you, but you weren't going without a fight.

Then you herd a yelp from behind you, one of the men tried to get to Luciana. You slashed his hand, making him bleed. "Don't touch my daughter." Your tone sent shivers down everyone's spine.

"My husband will be back, and we'll be on our way." Holding Luciana closer to you, Joaquin still had his gun aimed at the men. "Now miss, lying ain't gonna help." Joe tries to reason with you, but you weren't having it.

"Now, we'll just take yer stuff and be on our way. Sound good to you?"

"Fuck you puto!" Seething through your teeth, clenching onto your knife harder, your knuckles white. What you weren't expecting was another man, walking up to joe, locking his dark ocean eyes with your dark chocolate eyes.

Daryl couldn't believe it was you, he walks past joe, still looking into your eyes, everyone was confused, Joaquin aimed his gun at him but you were quick to push it down.

"Y/n" Daryl says above a whisper, taking breathe. "Daryl." You did the same lowering your knife.

Tears ran down your face, your bottom lip quivering, the two kids eyeing Daryl carefully. Then he embraces you, burying his face into your neck, both of you swaying just a little.

"I found ya."
"You found me."

Joaquin and Luciana smile at the reunion, finally being able to meet Daryl in person. "This is ma wife and kids. Ain't none of ya ever go near em, they claimed by me."

All three of you stood confused and the word 'claimed', but you had a feeling Daryl would tell you later. "Alright Daryl, just make sure they keep up. Let's head out boys."

"Hey wait a second that arrow mine. Ya better give that back." Len goes to step up to you, but you were quick to sheeth your knife away and use the arrow aiming it at him. "Claimed puto"

Len was pissed but he couldn't do anything about it now.

Daryl held your hand in his tight,as if he were to let go you would be gone again. Joaquin and Luciana at your side holding onto your other hand. "Soo, does this mean we're splitting ways." Joaquin kept looking foward, and so was Luciana since he had signed her what he was going to say.

Confusion, and small bit of anger was plastered on your face. "What, no! Don't ever think that ever. I meant what I said, you two are my kids and I will do anything for you two."

Joaquin nods his head, looking up so the small tears wouldn't go. "Yeah kid, no matter what." Daryl nods to him, he nods back squeezing your hand.
