38. Meeting

Morning time has come and Rick was the first one awake. The governor wanted to have a meeting with him about the events that took place in Woodbury.

Getting up stretching feeling a couple pops in your body letting out a satisfied groan, Rosco jumps up licking your face.

"Aww Rosco nooo, cochino."

You push him off you, looking behind you seeing Daryl already up. Putting on a baggy shirt, and new pants lacing up your boots. Once you stand up, dizziness clouded your head making you lean on the wall. Rosco nudges your leg giving a concerned whine.

"I'm okay, I'm okay." You tell him scratching his ears. Walking down the stairs seeing Rick, Daryl, Hershal, Carol, and Maggie in the cafeteria.

Rick and Daryl come over to you, "hey we're going to meet the governor, but I'm-

"Let me go with you." You cut him off as soon as he said they were going to meet the governor, but Daryl steps in.

"Nah you're staying here."

"Why not."

"Cause you'll probably attack, or shoot him before we even get to talk." Rick had a serious tone not wanting to argue with you.

"But I ca-

"Nah you staying here final words." Daryl cut you off.

You look between the two, then the floor. Letting out a sigh "Fine.. I'll stay."

"Thank you" Rick walks off getting ready to leave. Daryl takes you to y'all's shared cell. He wanted to tell you something but was nervous like any other times he wanted to ask you something.

"Listen I know you want to get back at the governor, so do I, but we have to have plan can't just go in and kill him, what if he has more guys with him."

"I know.. it's just I don't know why I'm still on this road to kill him, I don't want to be on this road anymore."

Daryl kisses you, then he hugs you, "I'll be back ight."

"You always do" you look up at him, "when this is over we can start thinking of baby names." "Are you" he asks excited. "I don't know yet, but one of these days I'll probably know."

Now Rick, Daryl, and Hershal left you stayed making you in charge till they get back. They took Rosco for extra help, just Incase.

Beth comes over with Judith, you smelled something pretty gross and when Beth got closer to you, it clicked.

"Here let me change her, she stinks." Taking her from Beth, "yeah I was actually about to ask if you can help me." She says sheepishly.

Going into Carl's cell getting a new diaper, and baby wipes. "Can you set the blanket down." Beth nods placing it on the ground for you to change Judith.

Taking off her diaper you moved your head to the side clearing your throat."Damn" you laugh "didn't know it would be that bad." Beth starts laughing too. After cleaning her up and burning the dirty diaper you spot Glenn and Maggie on watch.

Waving to them they wave back, you get back inside. "Y/n do you want to help me cook the deer?"

"Yeah"

"Well good morning princess, wow you cook deer now." Merle says in teasing voice. Rolling your eyes you ignore him and whet to go help Carl with the deer.

Rick, and Daryl finally got to the meeting place checking the perimeter Incase the governor had some secret men waiting to ambush them. Rosco stayed in the car with Hershal also keeping watch.
