That's all she had been doing since that afternoon.
Charlotte was sat on her bed drawing everything in her mind. Everyone was amazed at how well she could still draw after everything but Charlotte had pretty much turned deaf to their compliments in order to focus on what she was drawing.
She wasn't sure about where these places were, but Lauren and the girls had told her that they were places they had seen together. The most detailed and horrifying one was of the alleyway where Charlotte was taken. It was so detailed that it had all the girls in awe at her obvious talent.
"Where's this?" Charlotte asked as she handed Camila her latest drawing. "That's Elise's kitchen." Camila answered as she examined the work.
"Charlotte this is incredible, you have us all drawn perfectly." Camila gushed.
"But I can't remember what happened." Charlotte sighed. "It's like a freeze frame in my mind. I don't know what happened between each one."
Camila sighed and nodded understandingly. "You'll get there I promise." She whispered. Charlotte nodded and sighed before going back to drawing.
Within a few minutes, Charlotte had another picture drawn, once again in incredible detail.
"Where's this? I want to go there." She broke the light chatter between the girls. This time Ally took the picture and looked. Her mouth opened slightly before she handed it over to Lauren.
The girls looked at it together, leaving Charlotte sat idly on her bed fiddling with her fingers. "You want to go here?" Lauren asked gently. Charlotte nodded eagerly. "Is that okay Lauren?" She asked nervously.
"Let me just ask the doctor if you can okay?" But before Charlotte could respond Lauren was out the door and on her way to Dr Murphy's office.
"Come in." He called through the door. Lauren walked in quickly.
"I have a question."
*********
She wasn't even sure how she persuaded Dr Murphy to discharge Charlotte so early, but she managed and also sent Charlotte's documents to their Doctor in L.A so they could go home after their little trip.
After some goodbyes, the were ready to go, and Lauren could sense Charlotte's anxiety from a mile. "It's okay," Lauren whispered as she took Charlotte's hand, "you're safe."
Charlotte nodded hesitantly and held Lauren's hand a little tighter as they left the hospital.
Luckily, Big Rob had made sure that no paparazzi would bother them along with other various media, and Lauren was grateful that everyone was respecting their wishes and leaving Charlotte be.
Once they got into the car, Lauren and Charlotte prepared themselves for a long car ride back to the orphanage.
"You okay baby?" Lauren asked after fifth teen minutes. Charlotte simply shrugged in return. "I'm not sure. I have a funny feeling in my tummy about this."
"Good or bad?"
"Good. Definitely good."
