Charlotte stepped out of her bathroom and looked at the clock on the wall to see that it was now 1 in the afternoon, meaning she had spent nearly two hours getting ready.

The girls had all woken up around 10am, causing the five older girls to start panicking, since they were expecting guests. Charlotte however moved impossibly slower, she didn't feel like rushing around today, and she didn't feel like meeting new people either, she wanted to get used to the others before being introduced to more people, luckily Lauren had caught on to that and had assured her that it would be fine, that she would be fine with it in the end. She saw no point in trying to get the girls to cancel, knowing that it wasn't fair on them and also because they wouldn't cancel anyway, so she just agreed and vanished into the bathroom to get ready.

Looking at her reflection in the full body mirror that was on the inside of her wardrobe door, Charlotte studied her whole figure rather harshly, pointing out every flaw on her skin that was caused by her abusive past. She looked good apart from that, she was dressed in her new high waisted shorts and batman crop top. Her hair was down and straightened, and she was only wearing mascara and eyeliner and a little lipstick. She licked her appearance, just not her scars. But she couldn't get rid of them and she was smart enough to know that dwelling over them wouldn't make them vanish, so she shut her wardrobe door and pulled her ankle socks on her feet properly, looking over to her bed as she balanced, but immediately standing up straight when she noticed a familiar green bear on her made bed.

Frowning, Charlotte walked over to her bed and grabbed the bear, studying it carefully to realize it was identical to Olivia's bear Olive. But that's impossible...Charlotte thought as she stared at the bear, Olivia can't be here, she's been adopted. Deciding that the girls would know, Charlotte held onto the bear and walked out of her room, her mind was racing with possibilities, but not wanting to get her hopes up she blocked the thoughts out of her mind as she entered the living room, to see it was empty.

She frowned until she heard laughter coming from outside, it was a particularly nice day in L.A, so Charlotte wasn't that shocked that everyone may be putting the pool to use.

Taking a deep breath, Charlotte walked through the kitchen and into the garden to see that everyone was in the pool.

Dinah cannon balled into it, splashing Ally and Lauren who were sunbathing.

"Ah, you must be Charlotte!" A lady that Charlotte didn't recognize walked up to her with a large smile on her face. "I'm Sinuhe, Camila's Mother." She introduced herself. "Oh," Charlotte smiled, "I'm Charlotte, the child Lauren has custody of." Charlotte introduced herself awkwardly, now knowing if she should refer to Lauren as her Mom. Sinuhe nodded and smiled, she was quite short, and her hair was a light brown and cut rather short too. "CHAR-BEAR!" Charlotte heard someone yell. She looked over to see Camila was holding Olivia by the pool, the two dripping wet and in swim wear.

Tears began welling in Charlotte's eyes, thinking that she'd never see her little sunshine again as Olivia sprinted over to her. Not caring how soaked Olivia was, Charlotte opened her arms and picked Olivia up, hugging her tightly with Olivia's legs around her waist and her small arms around her neck. Charlotte kissed the small girls face repeatedly, getting Olivia's infectious giggles in return, making an impossibly larger smile spread across her face.

"What are you doing here?" Charlotte asked, allowing Olivia to lean back in her arms, though not letting her go just yet.

"Momma brought me here!" She smiled happily. Charlotte looked at her confused, and Olivia pointed over to Sinuhe, who was smiling happily at the scene. "You adopted Olivia?" Charlotte asked, she would of thought she would be mad at someone taking Olivia away from her, but seeing it was Camila's family that took her little sunshine in, she couldn't be happier, knowing now that she would be treated kindly.
