Drama in funky town.

Charlotte watched the sky turn an odd grey colour as the sun set on that drizzly day. A.C, or Officer Carling to everyone else, was sat opposite Charlotte, watching the girl intently.

"You okay Charlotte?" She asked. "Should I be?" Charlotte retorted. The girls were still touring, Morris said that they should act as if everything is normal. They weren't happy with it to begin with, but they needed the distraction.

A.C sighed as shook her head. "I'm not sure. Do you want to get out of this bus? We can go for a little walk around her venue?" The officer asked. Charlotte thought for a second then nodded. "Sure, I'll get my jacket." Charlotte spoke nervously as she stood up and went to get a jacket. Just as she was pulling it on, her phone buzzed.

From Unknown:

Don't think the police being their will stop us Charlotte. Your precious officer and Lauren can't protect you forever.

Charlotte gulped and walked back to A.C and handed her the phone. "He's lying Charlotte." A.C spoke. "They can't get you, we have their profiles, the minute they show up officers will know."

Charlotte sighed and nodded. "You're right, let's just go on a walk."

Despite the rain, it was quite relaxing. They could hear the girls singing and the crowd screaming in pure bliss. Charlotte envied them a little, how they could escape their problems with the help of the girls voices, if only her situation was as simple, if only she hadn't gone off on her own.

Every few feet was another officer or security guard. They greeted the two with a small smile and wave. "Can we go in? I want to at least see the girls." Charlotte asked. A.C nodded and smiled. "Sure thing kid."

Charlotte hadn't felt so care free in a while.

She was hidden behind the large crowd of people, barely able to see the girls but it was fun. She was dancing and singing along with everyone else, when A.C sighed at the people lighting a cigarette. "I'll be right back okay? Security are to busy with a few other teens. Stay here okay?" Charlotte nodded and watched A.C go, before focusing back on the girls.

They were all sat down, about to sing Take Me To Church when Charlotte heard something behind her.

Crying?

She shook her head, no one would have left a little kid here? Right.

The crying got worse and worse and Charlotte couldn't bare the sound, so without thinking clearly, she slipped out of the room and followed the noise, ending herself backstage.

She looked around, surprised that their was hardly anyone around. She frowned when the crying stopped as she found herself in a corridor. But that's when it hit her.

She was alone.

"It's rude not to reply to texts y'know." A deep voice chuckled. Charlotte turned around to see her vile excuse of an Uncle stood their with his phone in his hands. "It's amazing what you can find on the Internet. Why would anyone record a child crying and put up the audio? It's almost like they want people to use it as bait." He snarled just as Tom walked next to him.

"You have to big of a heart to ignore a baby crying." Tom laughed.

Charlotte gulped, this was it. They were going to take her, she was never going to say goodbye to the girls. And it would be fault.

"I missed you Charlotte." Her Uncle snarled, as he took a step closer, tracing his finger along her jawline. "You're such a pretty girl now. I'm sure you still remember my lessons."

Charlotte gulped. She remembered them clearly, all the threats she got, how she was told to remain silent no matter what, if she didn't do certain things she'd get punished in certain ways. Despite the rape, burns fucking sucked.

"I asked you a question." He snapped, gripping Charlotte's cheeks roughly between his thumb and index finger. "I remember." She spat.

Wrong move.

She fell the floor, holding her left cheek with her right hand. Her Uncle bent down to her level. "Go run to your little family." He snarled.

"It may be the last time you see them alive."

Without hesitation she got up and began running. "We'll see you soon Charlotte, don't you worry." Tom laughed as Charlotte ran.

She turned a corner and immediately collided with a body. "CHARLOTTE I TOLD YOU TO- what happened?" AC asked. Charlotte burst into tears. "Th-they're here!" She sobbed. AC spoke into her ear piece. "Surround the building." She practically yelled. "I need Big Rob now."

AC wrapped her arms around Charlotte as two officers ran past. They really were after her.
