The next morning Charlotte really couldn't remember getting back to the hotel. All she could recollect was telling Beau and his parents that she had in fact ran off and that's about it. She was guessing she fell asleep not long after that.
She sighed and realised that Lauren was cuddled up next to her, her arm securely around her small waist, keeping her close to Lauren's body as she slept. A small smile graced Charlotte's lips as she saw her adopter sleeping peacefully, but it soon vanished when she realised something.
She wasn't wearing yesterday's clothes.
She quickly lifted up the quilt and saw she was only wearing underwear and a large shirt. Her bracelets were gone and so all her scars were visible, except the ones on her hips and stomach, which obviously Lauren had to had seen or whoever changed her.
She didn't realise that she was crying until a sob escaped her lips.
She rolled on her side so she was facing away from Lauren, and tried her hardest not to make a sound. But with her body trembling and Lauren's grip on her waist, she knew that I wouldn't take much for Lauren to wake up soon.
And she was right.
The older girl stirred awake due to the sound of Charlotte sobbing. Once her eyes adjusted to the light, she turned her attention to the trembling girl in her arms. She frowned and moved closer to her. "Baby girl..." She whispered softly, "what's wrong?"
"N-nothing." Charlotte sobbed. Lauren frowned and pulled Charlotte closer to her chest, despite the younger girls thrashing a weak pleas to let her go. She wrapped her arms around her and let the girl hit her chest until she fully broke down.
"God I'm so sorry..." Lauren spoke, failing horribly at trying to get her voice to stay even. "I am so sorry. You aren't stupid, you aren't worthless. You are so amazing and I am so lucky to call you my daughter. Please please please don't do this to yourself. You're worth so much more Charlotte." Lauren whimpered as she held the crying girl in her arms.
"Stop lying to me." Charlotte begged, "I'm just a charity case to you." Charlotte sobbed, speaking out all her insecurities. Lauren couldn't fight back tears as Charlotte began calling herself things.

Better of dead.Lauren couldn't listen anymore after Charlotte said the last thing. She quickly sat up and made Charlotte look at her. "Charlotte Mae Jauregui you are not better off dead! Never ever say or think that! You are so beautiful inside and out. You are so smart that it worries me sometimes. You're no where near being selfish or being a brat, you're so sweet and kind to everyone. You are worth all the happiness and joy in the world and you are not a waste of space. I adopted you Charlotte because I couldn't bare the thought of leaving you there. Not giving you the opportunity to have a family. Me and the girls love you so much and we couldn't imagine you not being with us. When you left we all became depressed because you are our little sunshine and we love you so so much!" Lauren Stated, looking into Charlotte's eyes the entire time as she tried to find words to fathom how much Charlotte meant to them all.
During this time, Charlotte was searching Lauren's eyes for a sign that she was lying, but she couldn't find one.
"Baby why did you relapse?" Lauren asked as she held onto Charlotte's wrist, kissing the fresh cuts and making the younger girls heart swell at the affection. "It was at the airport, when we left for Australia. Some girls walked in when I was in the stall and said how I was all the things I've already said." Charlotte mumbled as her gaze dropped to her lap, not wishing to see Lauren's eyes.
