(Not edited, a little drama though, and it's a long chapter! Don't forget to vote!)
Miss Greene rolled her eyes as she got up from her comfortable leather chair and headed out of her office. She found it highly annoying how every-time she began doing anything remotely productive it was always interrupted by something, this time she was interrupted by a knock at the door, something that rarely happened.
She looked at the clock that was hanging on the wall of the hallway to see it was dead on 3pm. She thought of who could possibly be visiting today but no one came to mind as she stood in front of the door. She reached for the key and unlocked it, before opening the door to see Elise stood there with five other, much older, girls that she'd never seen before.
"Hello Elise." Miss Greene greeted her warmly with a smile. "Hey," Elise replied, "Is Charlotte in?" Miss Greene sighed. Charlotte was mute once again, seemingly to distracted by her book to come down for breakfast. "She is, but I don't think she'll want guests today." Miss Greene explained sadly. "Is she okay?" The older girl with dark hair and green eyes asked in a worried tone, making Miss Greene smile lightly at the thought someone other than Elise and Charlotte's other friends caring about her.
"She's fine, she just had a nightmare again and hasn't spoken a word since she came home yesterday." She explained in a solemnly tone. The six girls in front of her all looked worried, especially the five older ones. "You can go see her, but I doubt she'll talk." Miss Greene said more to Elise, who nodded understandingly as they all walked in. "Um, if you don't mind me asking, who are you?" "Oh, right!" Elise smiled again. After Elise introduced them all, Miss Greene smiled. "Ah, so you two are the girls that Olivia describes as crazy." Miss Greene looked at Camila and Dinah, who were now beaming. "Yep!" Dinah said, popping the 'p'. "Is Olivia here?" Camila asked excitedly. "She is, she's in her room." "She shares with Charlotte, so we'll see her." Elise explained to Camila and Dinah, who were still smiling happily. "Well, I'll let you go. If you need anything I'm sure Elise will show you." Miss Greene sighed happily before going back to her office, to try and finish paperwork.
Charlotte was sat once again on her bunk, her legs were crossed as she focused all her attention on the large book in her hands that was Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Olivia was sat next to her in the same fashion, though she was braiding the hair of a barbie doll with Olive in her lap. Looking at the two, they did look like sisters and rather adorable, which was why Dinah took a few pictures on her phone before allowing the others to make their pressence known.
"CAMMY!" Olivia yelled as she launched herself off of the bunk and into Camila's awaiting arms. Charlotte looked up briefly before returning her attention to her book, not wanting to talk to anyone at all.
"Hi Charlotte." Ally greeted. Charlotte looked up again, her eyes we're screaming 'please leave' but her face remained emotionless. Elise sighed. "We need to talk to you, and you have to reply." With a shake of her head, Charlotte leaned back lightly and covered her face with her book, though it was at a far enough distance so she could still read it, not wanting to stop halfway through a chapter that was interesting.
They all sighed and turned their attention to Olivia, well, everyone but Lauren, who was now next to Charlotte. "Hey..." She whispered. Charlotte looked to her left to see Lauren sat like her, and her green eyes were oozing with tenderness and worry, making Charlotte confused beyond words, not like she could use them anyway.
She looked over her book to see everyone had left, leaving her and Lauren alone. Normally she would panic, but she would be lying to herself if she said she didn't feel unexplainably safe in her pressence, she knew that was the reason why she had slept so well at the sleepover, it was because she was cuddled up with her.
