Chapter 28Savanna's POV
I went out to the parking lot, looking for Luke. I called him a few times but he hasn't answered.
"Boo." I heard Luke say.
I jumped as I saw him behind me, leaning onto a wall. He wore long sleeves, dark jeans and vans.
"I want to ask you something." He said.
"Okay, fire away." I said standing up. His height towered me.
"Would you, Savanna Eastwood, go out on a date with me?" He asked, which seemed like it was a wedding proposal.
"Why yes! I would love to." I gave him a smile. "Where are we going?" I asked.
"It's a surprise. This is a really special place." He said, placing his hands in his pockets.
I gave him a toothy grin. "I love surprises."

"Can I remove them now?" I asked, referring to the bandana that blindfolded my eyes.
"Not yet." He said. I was nervous. I am actually afraid of the dark and pure darkness was pure terror. I slipped and he caught me just in time.
"Clumsy." He stated. I imagine him giving me a smirk.
"Well, I can't see. That doesn't make me clumsy." I said in a matter-of-fact tone. He chuckled and pulled me back up.
"Now, you may see." He said. I untangled the bandana and took it off, excitement filling my veins.
How creative can Luke be?
As I finished removing the bandana, I opened my eyes and saw a lake with a boat in front of me. He went on the wooden boat and lend out his hand. I grabbed it and went on it.
We sat down and he paddled the boat professionally like he was born to do it. He stopped paddling as we went into a bunch of trees.
It simply reminded me of 'The Notebook'.
"So, where did you get this idea?" I asked, our eyes locked.
"I got it myself. Guess I'm just that creative." He said and winked. I looked down at the water.
His wink never fails to affect me.
"How did you find this place?" I asked to break the dead silence. His eyes were still on me.
"Me and my dad used to go here since I was a little kid." He smiled looking at the lake, probably recalling the memories. "We would feed the ducks, or go fishing but not anymore because..." He trailed off and frowned.
I looked around and realized there were no ducks around. That maybe was a long time ago or something.
"I'm really sorry." I said. I didn't know what else to say.
My heart is pounding really fast. This is my first date with Luke. I hope this doesn't screw up like other dates.
"I brought snacks." He gave me a grin and got out a basket. He placed it in between us. I peeked inside. There were two diet cokes and sandwiches. Luke placed them all out of the basket.
As we ate and drank, I decided to ask him. "Luke, tell me more about yourself." I said, grabbing a bite from my sandwich.
"Like what sort of information?" He asked.
"You know, what you like and don't like or something. Just things that I don't know." I explained.
"Hm..." He looked at the sky, making me see his stormy gray eyes. "I like coke, and I like Doritos. I speak a little French." He looked back at me. "Your turn."
