Chapter 8~Confrontation

Sav's POV

Okay. This is the day. This is the day where I will tell my mum. I know, it's not really a big deal. It's just telling about Sam.

The sunrise went to my eyes.

Jasmine was there with Shane and mum on the couch. I felt important and loved because they had overnight just for me.

They really didn't have to do this. As I saw my mum move and rub her eyes I immediately turned away and closed my eyes. I'm still not ready. I feel dragons flying inside my stomach.

This is bad. Dr. Pacifico said that I shouldn't even feel nervous. Okay.

Gotta.. stay.. calm....

Gotta.. stay.. calm...

Gotta.. stay.. calm...

Oh no! My stomach hurts because of nervousness. I folded my arms across my stomach and pressed it gently.

"Hey. Savanna darling. Are you okay? Does your stomach hurt?" Is my mum a mind reader? Yeah I know. Super powers huh?

"Yeah. A bit." I could cry just because of the pain.

"Here. Have some of this ointment and rub it in your tummy." She gave me an ointment. It said 'Pain Reliever'. My mum used to be a scholar in nursing and my aunt is a pediatric. My other aunt was an orthopedic.

My cousin would become a.. respiratory doctor something.. Just to make it simple, I have a family of doctors.

I really didn't have to worry in finding a doctor. The clinics are just near our house.

After awhile, I noticed that my stomach feels better.

"So, how's your tummy?" Mum asked with concern in her Cyan colored eyes. As a ray of the sun went to my mother's eye, it became shiny. So bright! I wished I had the color of her eyes.

"It's better." She looked at me with relieved eyes.

"Okay. Since these lazy heads are sleeping, who is Sam?" I swallowed a lump on my throat.

I told my mum everything. About how he hurt me and that we were friends since kindergarten. I didn't tell her that he showed up in our house. I want this conversation to end and a guy appearing out of nowhere went in my room is just weird.

"Aww... Sweetie, you should've told me this. I'm sorry if I was always there in work and not doing my role. Just tell me anything when you need something." She winked at me and I hugged her. Suddenly, somebody interrupted.

"Hey. Can I join in the hug? I'm part of the family here ya know." Shane said. With his long muscular arms, he hugged us tightly.

Jasmine woke up and jumped on us. She hugged us too.

"Hey guys, I really can't breathe! I have claustrophia remember?" They all let go. I was heavy breathing. I felt like I was jogging the whole hospital. Yeah, I'm OA(Over-reacting).

"I see what Sam did to you now." Shane said smirking. I gave him a glare and slapped his shoulder.

"Let it go, Shane." I said jokingly. I playfully rolled my eyes.

"Whatever. Just if he does something, tell me okay?" He said securely. Oh, big brothers.

Jasmine went up to me and chatted with me. Normal girl stuff.

"So, guys? What do you want for breakfast?"

"Bacon and eggs please!" I said hungrily. Oh, how this little stomach wants to get full huh?

"I'll take what Sav said." Jasmine stated.

I waited for Shane to answer but he went to his usual place. The corner. He was quiet. His arms across his chest and placed his hoodie so we couldn't see his face or read it.

I knew there was something wrong with him.
