Pretend that the girl in the gif is Savanna. When Luke was making her choose. Credits to the one who posted this on tumblr.

It was my birthday three days ago, hell yeah!

Chapter 35

Savanna's POV

"I..." I trailed off and took a deep breath. I can do this. "Luke, I love you but..." Here it comes. "I choose Sam."

That's when my world dropped.

Luke walked-out on me. His back was the last thing I saw. I looked back to Sam, lying on the floor, confused.

Sam's POV

I didn't know what to feel.

Happy that she chose me or worry of what Savanna's feeling right now or angry at Luke who just punched me just a while ago.

I also didn't know what to do.

To hug Savanna, or what? Maybe give her another tasty kiss? Or....

You know what, I should stop thinking like this. I'm thinking like a freaking girl.

I have chosen my fate.

I stood up and hugged her. She hugged back. I loved her smell. She smelled like cinnamon. I wanted to hug her forever.

Snap out of it Sam! You're becoming really cheesy.

"I think I should go now." Thomas interrupted. All of a sudden, we let go of each other and fixed ourselves up. "Of all of what happened today... was really serious." He shook his head and smiled. "I'm really thankful I'm single and have no love life yet."

I smiled at him. "Trust me, it's very complicated."

"Did you bring your penny board?" Sam asked.

Thomas smiled, showing off his cute dimples. "I wouldn't go anywhere without it."

"Well, let's go." Sam said but he stared at empty space, like he sootted something. "But, I need to get something first." He ran off.

"What is he up to?" Thomas asked.

I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know." I looked at where Sam was just a while ago. "That guy, does a lot of weird things and that's what I love about him." I looked back to him. "I think we should walk around." I said.

That idea came up to me because I just met this boy now. I'm socially awkward with strangers so just to not make it more awkward, I requested that.

"Yeah, that would be great." He said.

We walked past booths and stands and some rides, almost getting puked on by a person riding on the rollercoaster at the moment.

"So, Thomas-"

"Please, call me Tom." He said. "I like the nickname better."

I nodded. "So, Tom," I continued. "Tell me more about yourself."

He looked at a booth that sells sodas. "There's one thing I need to tell you." He turned to me. "I'll be right back, okay?" He asked. I nodded.

He approached the booth, preparing his money. "I want a Dr. Pepper, please." The lady said the price and he gave out the cash. I scanned around the place, getting a little bored.

But my body snapped when the lady asked,"Is she your girlfriend?" I pretended that I didn't hear and looked straight. In the corner of my eye, I saw Tom wink.

"No." He gave a smirk. "The last time I checked, I'm pretty much single." How this guy flirts outstandingly... I have no idea. "What's your name, luv?"

The girl giggled. "I'm Jessie."

"Okay, Jessie, can I have your number?" Tom asked. This guy is a flirt! How come he doesn't have a girl yet?

After a while, Thomas came back with a huge grin. "Why the face?" I asked him, with a mischevious grin.

"You know what happened." He said and proudly handed me a paper. Written in nice script was Jessie's number and her name above it.

"Nice." I commented. He took a sip from his soda and wiped his mouth afterwards with the back of his palm. "I'm surprised you're still single."

"I'm not going to be single anymore tomorrow." I furrowed my brows. He noticed my confusion. "Read at the back of the paper."

I read aloud, mimicking a girly voice. "Can I see you tomorrow at 7:30pm? A fancy dinner probably. Make sure to text me later about your final decisions." I finished by giving back to him the paper and giving him a mischevious grin. "You're going to get banged." I guessed.

"No, not really..." He seemed to think really hard, looking at the sky. "Maybe." My grin grew wider.

"Thomas, could I borrow her for a second?" Sam asked from behind Thomas, clapping his hand on his shoulder.

"Sure. I'm going home anyways." Thomas replied with a wide grin, showing off those cute dimples. "Have a fun time in your date. See you guys at school." With that, he ran off.

"Where were you Sam?" I asked.

"I can't tell you." He replied, making me pout. He put on a smirk. "But I can show you."

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

We went past rides, going to a booth where you should shoot and get some prizes.

"Pick which prize and I'll get it for you." He said, his glance pointing upwards. I followed his gaze.

Atop our heads were three different stuff toys hanging.

One was a dog, another was an eagle and the other was a unicorn. And those were the major prizes.

"Are you sure you could win a major prize?" I kidded.

He gave me a glare. "Just pick." He still didn't remove his expression.

"I want the unicorn." I said, like the little girl in Despicable Me who wanted the unicorn prize.

Wow. We are so much alike.

"Why a unicorn?" He asked.

"Why not?" I fired back. "Besides, I am another unicorn. I need a unicorn friend."

Sam shook his head amusingly and began to play. It's about aiming. If he shoots the smallest bottle with his gun, he could be able to win a major prize.

After a few attempts, he surprisingly shot the smallest bottle and gave me the unicorn stuffed toy saying,"For you,"

"Why thank you." I got it and hugged it like it was my most valuable possession. I sniffed it. I hate the smell of new toys, the scent is not interesting. "Sam, what time is it?"

He became shocked for a second as if I snapped him back to reality. "Oh, yeah. It's time for you to buy a watch."

It's now my turn to give him a glare. "I'm serious."

He smirked and got out his phone, checking the time. "Quarter to six." He replied.

"Well, I have to go. Do you think that you could bring me home, maybe ride the penny boards or something."

"Sure."

A/N:

The next chapter is probably the last chapter. I'm not sure. I was thinking that it was boring already that the guy finally got the girl so... I'm ending it on the next one. I'm going to skip it to their graduation and so forth and so on.

I really hoped you liked this book. Do you think I should make a sequel...? If so, I'd probably make it two months later or so.

Baii!

p.s. I'll make my end of book speech on the next chapter. 😊
