Chapter 12

Caught Pike handed

I rush over to the radio to let Lexa know I got here safely she'll be worried if I don't, and I don't want her to worry.
I've told her that whilst I'm in Arkadia she must continue her duties as Heda, though she was concerned and thought she couldn't concentrate. I reminded her of something she once said. "I'm more then capable of separating feelings from duty".

"come in Polis" I say pressing the red button, I wait eagerly for a response when I hear her vocie.

"this is the Commander, who is this? " I hear Lexa's voice, it's so serious and cold, she obviously doesn't realise it me radioing in.

"Lexa, it me Clarke" a smile spread across my face knowing Lexa's alright.

"Clarke" I hear her gasp, just the sound of her voice made me miss her, her gorgeous green eyes and dark brown hair, that smile that makes my whole heart burst.

"Lexa, it me I'm back in Arkadia and we have a plan" i say, I want to get straight to the point so we can talk after about how much we love and miss each other.

"good, what is the plan?" she's asks, I bite my lip nervously, I need to be careful how I word this or Lexa will panic.

"okay so there two plans. Plan one is I'm going to try and get Pike to the blockade where your warrior can take back to polis and then second is I'm going to poison him" I explaine, the silences makes me anxious.

"Lexa" I say after a few moments

"I think this is a crazy idea, if anyone finds out your, my..." she pause and I wait for her to finish. "I'm scared if they figure out your my girlfriend they'll hurt you"she says sounding defeated, my heart wrenchs, I know she right they probably kill me on the spot.

"I'll be alright, if there's any trouble I know you have Octavia watching me she'll tell you, I'm safe here" I say trying to reassure her, though I wish it was making me feel better.

"okay, but remember you promised Clarke, I have to go, I love you" she says and smile crosses my face.

"I love you too" I say then the radio cuts off.

Slumping down in my bed I look up at the ceiling, I imagine mine and Lexa room the view of Polis from the balcony, they way I'd wake up to her smiling at me or fell asleep wrapped in her arms, she was like my human radiator and I loved and missed it.

Walking through Arkadia I can feel eyes watching me Pike has his followers, following me at all times of the day they didn't trust me, after all I've been in Polis for the last I don't know how long of course they don't trust me.

I slump down on a seat next to raven, were both eating lunch so I thought I'd ask her some more questions about this plan.

"so Raven, explain to me how I'm going to get Pike to the blockade" I whisper she raises a brow at me and then looks to Bellamy who's watch us from a few tables away.

"ahh" I say quietly. "so how thing with my Raven" I ask trying to think of something to talk about, she givens me a confused look.

"there good, how are you, I was there when Abby got the call about you being shot, did it heal well?" she ask point to my stomach, I pull my shirt up stight so she could see the scare where the bullet entered, she brushed a cold hand over it and it tickled so I pulled away.

"it's good, Lexa did a great job looking after it she watched over me constantly, it was nice, Octavia was there sometime as well" I said, a smile crossed my face even thinking about Lexa.

"so you and Lexa huh?" she as a mischievous grin plastered on her face and I blush slightly and then chuckle.

"look at you the famous Commander of death blushing" she say teasingly, I hit her arm In a play full way and we both chuckle.
