Steve:„lets go downstairs..."

He fastly changed and I helped him.

I sat down on the couch downstairs and Bucky put y/n on his lap.

Y/n:„was Daddy crying?"

Steve:„no I wasn't darling..."

I gave her a kiss on the cheek and she started playing around with Bucky.

~1 hour later~

Wanda cooked food for us so I helped Bucky to sit down and eat.

~bucky pov~

Bucky:„steve...I know how to eat!"

He looked up at me and I saw that he had tears in his eyes.

Bucky:„you can help y/n..."

He gave me the spoon and started feeding y/n.

It wasn't easy to eat and as I tried I accidentally let the spoon fall to the ground.

Steve looked at me, picked up the spoon and I saw that tears were running down his cheeks, so he ran upstairs.

Bucky:„i will be right back...I uhm just spilled soup on my shirt!"

I stood up and walked upstairs with my crutches.

Bucky:„steven! Get out of the bathroom now!"

He opened the door and I looked at him.

He was sitting on the bathtub crying so I hugged him.

Steve:„i love you..."

Bucky:„why are you crying Hun?"

Steve:„cause I almost fucking lost you!"

Bucky:„language!"

Steve hugged me tighter and I sat down next to him with a groan.

Steve:„it hurts right? Why don't you just lay down? I could take care of you and-"

He started talking so much that I just took his face, turned it towards me and kissed him.

Bucky:„im ok, fine really! Look!"

I smiled up on him and he started crying again!

Bucky:„ok you know what? You! Lay down and go to sleep! I will take care of y/n!"

He walked out and layed down on his bed side.

Steve:„what if something happens to you?"

Bucky:„nothing will happen to me alright? The avengers are there and I will just play something with y/n."

I gave him a kiss and walked downstairs.

~steve pov~

I felt asleep but woke up an hour later cause of an nightmare.

Bucky was on the road and I tried to help him...
Everyone did but it was to late...
I saw how he closed his eyes and stopped breathing.

I sat up breathing heavily and crying.

Steve:„buck..."

I walked downstairs to see him asleep on the couch and y/n sitting on his lap watching a movie.

Steve:„come here princess..."

Y/n:„something wrong daddy?"

Steve:„no..."

I hugged her and put a kiss on her forehead.

Sam:„are you alright?"

Steve:„sure why shouldn't I?"

Tony:„look at you shirt!"

Wanda:„yeah I thought it was light grey..."

I looked at my shirt and saw that it was completely wet cause i was sweating as I had the nightmare.

Steve:„yeah I'm uhm fine! Just training!"

Clint:„sure..."

I looked over to Bucky who was worried and then back to y/n.

Steve:„really I'm fine...y/n what about going out with buddy?"

Y/n:„yayy!"

Tony:„oh yeah by the way! I forgot to tell you that your car will be fixed...you will get it back in a few days or an week! In the mean time you can borrow one of mine!"

Steve:„o-ok thanks!"

I started stuttering and got nervous.

Nat:„hey Steve...! You shouldn't go out with buddy! Come on let's get you to my room!"

She took my arm and dragged me to her room while I started shaking.

Nat:„thor! You will go!"

Thor:„yes sirr! C'mon little midgardian!"

He picked up y/n and they walked out with buddy.

Nat:„rogers...you need to talk to me!"

Steve:„i feel horrible...it's my fault I hate it! I hate me! I ugh I just can't...I can't look at him..."

Nat:„it was an accident Rogers!"

Steve:„no! You don't understand! He crashed into a car cause I called him!"

Nat:„no! Hey look at me!"

I looked up at her.

Nat:„steve i mean it! You will shove your big ass into the living room! Pick up Bucky and bring him to bed! Then you will lay down too and go to sleep! I'm gonna look after you two alright?"

I nodded slowly...it was kinda awkward that she called me Steve...she never calls me that...well yeah she does but not that often...

I stood up and did everything what she told me to do.

Bucky:„stevie..."

He was talking in sleep so I put the blanket over him and snuggled up to him.

Steve:„shhhh...I'm here...trying not to hurt you..."

Natasha came some times into the room to look after me and Bucky.
