The flight to El Paso International Airport is fucking long. One day and nine hours! With three stops. Jace decided that since each stopover was less than four hours we could just wait at the airport instead of getting a hotel room to nap or relax in.

By the time we arrive, I'm not only sore but fucking exhausted. I tried to nap on the flights, but I've probably only slept a few hours total as every time I close my eyes I see Jack's face. My last hours in England he made a nightmare, and it’s going to take me a while to forget about that.

But we finally arrived and it was six pm London time, but actually, eleven am when we get there. Jet lag is going to be a bitch.

We hop into a rental car once we've got our bags, and Jace drives us to our new home. The closer we get the more excited and tired I'm getting.

Excited, because this is us starting our lives together. I want things to go back to when we couldn't keep our hands off of each other. When things were amazing and he was the man of my dreams.

I remember the night I met him. He had just gotten off work and he stood out in the pub crowd in his business suit. There’s just something about a man in a suit that instantly increases their hotness level.

He couldn't keep his eyes off me and it made me feel like the only girl in the world. So when he asked for my number, how could I resist him?

Soon we were going out for dinner, drinks, and to the movies, and before long we were spending every spare moment together. We were completely wrapped up in being with each other, just talking, laughing, kissing, fucking, it was like nothing I had ever experienced. And I never wanted it to end….

I want that back.

It takes twenty-four minutes to get to the house on vista del monte Street, from the airport. I haven't really looked at any maps as I'm rubbish at reading and understanding them, but that was the street Jace said we would be living on. I'll just have to go exploring, and hopefully, remember my way around.

When we pull into the driveway, I'm speechless. "Wow." I breathe. Ok, guess not totally speechless. Jace flashes me a smile filled with pride and happiness at my reaction.

The house is fucking huge! The walls are a sand colour, the front garden had trees spaced evenly apart and a path leading to the dark wood, double front doors. It even has fancy-shaped trees in pots on either side of the door that spiral up. My favourite part is that there's some sort of climbing vine growing up and over the door with pretty, hanging flowers. It's really beautiful.

"Come on, babe. Let's get settled, then you can sleep while I work." He says as he climbs out of the car. I follow his lead and climb out the passenger side, my mouth must be open in stunned awe, as he’s strutting towards me like a proud peacock.

"I'll just wake you around three so you can still sleep tonight. We just need to adjust to the time difference. We're now seven hours behind London!" He tells me, pressing a kiss to my temple and hugging me from the side as he also looks at the house.

I’m so exhausted that I ignore the way he talks to me. It’s not important at the moment…sleep is…I just hope that Jack doesn’t invade my dreams and I can actually sleep.

Jace takes the keys out of a coded lockbox by the front door, and he lets us in, and my god! I gasp at the pure size and luxury of the place. It feels like it’s even bigger inside here than when you first approach the place.

"I did good, didn't I babe?" Jace comments smugly with a gentle shoulder bump. I can only nod in stunned awe in reply and I hope my lack of verbal reply hasn’t upset him.

It's fully furnished like Jace said, with all top-of-the-range stuff. A large white corner sofa, a huge flat-screen TV, and surround sound speakers in the lounge, then glancing in the kitchen as Jace guides me past I see top appliances, all in polished chrome with stunning marble-topped counters, with glossy white cupboards and floor tiles.
