Shit! I haven't been keeping an eye on the time as I've been in my head! It's… Shit! It's nine twenty-five!

"Come in!"

"Sorry ta disturb ya. I was just lettin' ya know I'm headin' ta the store. I'll be back in a few hours as I gotta stop 'n' pick up ya dad's birthday gift."

"Dad's birthday?" I question. How bad am I? I don't even know when their birthdays are!?

"It's not for a few months don't worry, but I like ta be prepared. I know it will be celebrated over the club, so it's a lot a thangs ta get 'n' prepare for. I'm countin' on you ta make 'is cake. Will need ta be huge as everyone will want some."

"Definitely! Gives me time ta get 'im something too."

"Ok sweetie. I'll see you later."

"Ok bye." As soon as she's out the door, I grab my stuff, shove it in my bag, then pull the app up to order the Uber, then I look out the front window to see Mum crossing the road. So I dash out the door and down to the second landing window. I open it and manage to squeeze out, then I move across the roof slowly to drop to the roof when I head the fucking guys in the garden!

Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! What should I do? I'll have to try and sneak out the front. Mum's not here so I can get out of the building, I just have to make sure none of the Sinners spot me. I crawl back to the window and manage to slip back inside, then I creep down the stairs and to the door.

I manage to slip out the tiniest gap so as not to make the fucking bells go off, otherwise, the guys might come to investigate the noise. Then I peek over the road to see that there are only a few people outside, but none of them are paying any attention to this side of the road.

I pop my hat and sunglasses on then start walking down the road, hoping that if they do spot me, they think I'm someone else, and when I get to the shop I hide around the side and wait for the Uber.

I'm a fucking wreck, thinking someone will spot me leaning beside the building as I wait for the next ten minutes, which is when it arrives at nine forty-five.

"You here for, Tiny?" I ask, just to be sure, and the guy nods. I used Tiny because if they try to track me down by speaking to the company, they will presume I used my real name.

I sit back in the car and breathe a sigh of relief as I leave Dripping Springs unnoticed. The driver doesn't speak thankfully, and I spend the drive with butterflies in my stomach, praying I get back before anyone notices me. At around ten, maybe a little after, my phone goes off making me jump, I open it up and see a message from Katy-ann.

Katy-ann: Hey, I was just checking in. Hope you're OK. Looking forward to this evening if you're still up for it. FYI they're back. Once he's seen the room, you know he will be over to find you. X

Fuck! I wasn't expecting them back this early. I thought he had something else to do this morning!

Me: I'm good, thanks. Yeah definitely up for doing something later, I may need it after dealing with Soul. Though I plan to ignore him for a bit. Thanks for checking in and letting me know X

Once I've sent it my eye catches the message I found on my phone this morning from Soul, but I couldn't bring myself to look at it. My thumb hovers over the button to open it when it starts ringing.

Incoming call: Soul

I ignore it and when I'm about to hang up, it disconnects and I catch the open button on the message.

Soul: I know it's late and you're probably drunk and passed out that you won't see this until morning, but I wanted to let you know everyone is ok. I didn't get him, but I'll speak to you when I'm home. I'm in bed now, wishing I was wrapped around you, and buried inside you. Counting down the seconds until I get back to you. I miss you. Love you, Tiny xoxo
