42|Getting to know Kate

Lucy's POV
After watching the movie I left to sleep, or at least try to. Yeah I went to sleep fast woke up 4-5 hours later at 2am. I could not get back to sleep so read my book. It is now 3:30 and I really want to train, I haven't done it in a while and I need to punch something. I sit anxiously bouncing my leg waiting for n appropriate time to go to the training room without looking like a total weirdo for training so early in the morning. Me and Peter so have school today which is alright because we get to hang out with Ned and MJ but on the other hand we have to got to school.

It was fun hanging with all of the girls yesterday and Kate doesn't seem too bad, I don't trust her enough to be myself around her but hopefully progress will be made. Her personality is fun and she is like a puppy. I decide to listen to some music for a bit to pass the time.

At 4:30 I decide to go down tot the training room as I cannot take it any longer, when I arrive in the kitchen to get a drink someone appears behind me. It's Yelena. "Early training?" She questions while I nod "Yay, you can be my trading buddy" Yelena adds

We both head down to the training room and prepare to spar each other, we do some stretches to warm up and we begin to circle each other around the ring. Yelena charges first, she attempt to punch me but I block her, Yelena then drops to the floor and goes to swipe my legs but I jump her kick and warp my legs round her neck chucking her to the floor. Yelena lays on the floor panting. "This is so unfair!" Yelena groans like a toddler before huffing and getting back up.

"You keep dropping your guard, after you attempted to swipe my leg you should have moved to a a safer position and been prepared to do that, you were venerable on the floor" I tell Yelena, who nods and gets ready to go again.

Me and Yelena spar for a few hours having plenty of time to do so as it is early, it is now around seven and we are taking a small break booth of us lugging down lots of water. "Again?" Yelena questions and I nod. While on our way back to the ring Yelena trips over her won foot, and crashes to the ground this makes me laugh and I fall to the flor laughing. Both of us are on the floor laughing and rolling. I get up and help Yelena up.

"Ready now?" I question teasingly, Yelena scoffs jokingly and we both walk back into he ring and begin sparring. Yelena looks like she is about to win and gets a bit cocky.

"Im going to beat you this time, ready to loose?" Yelena questions, I smirk and run forwards, i roll through Yelena's legs and wrap both my legs around Yelena's back and use the momentum to push her to the floor. "Битч" (bitch) Yelena exclaims.

"Excuse me?" I ask Yelena puts her head down knowing I understand Russian and aware of her slip up.

"That was awesome" Someone exclaim from behind us, I don't recognise the voice so I get into a fighting stance and lets my elemental powers swirl around me, I allow my wings to come out f my back and fire, water, earth and air swirl all around me ready to attack if needed. I realise it was Kate as she put her hands up in surrender. "It's me please don't kill me, ooooooo your wings are so cool and the fire and elements, wow!" Kate rambles. I extinguished the flames and stop controlling the other elements and let my wings retreat back into my back.

"Reflexes sorry" I say before going to Yelena and helping her up.

"Why are you guys here so early?" Kate questions and me and Yelena looks at each other and start laughing "what so funny?" Kate questions.

"Sorry Kate bishop but this is not very early for us, we got here at 4:30 and started training" Yelena explains Kate Staines their astonished "I bet your thinking, this is crazy" Yelena says Kate just nods.

"Do you want to train too?" I ask, Kate nods again, confusion is planted across Kate face.

"Why are you guys up so early?" she questions
