——————————Wally's POV:—————————-

"You liking the new place?" Dick asked as he opened the door to my fridge, the light illuminating his features in the semi dark room. His eyes scanned the shelves until he spotted a bottle of gatorade that I had bought earlier this week. Besides the few drinks and frozen meals, I had yet to go shopping again and I was getting dangerously low on sustenance.

I nodded, the smile on my face widening. "Yeah, this place is awesome, the rent's good, and almost all the neighbors are pretty cool." I replied. The apartment I was living in really was nice for the amount I was paying for it. I didn't have a nosy landlord and the appliances were already in good condition when I arrived. Honestly, I couldn't come up with a complaint about the establishment if I tried.

"Almost all? Is someone messing with you?" Dick asked as he leaned against the counter, bringing the gatorade up so he could sip on it.

I sighed as I shook my head. "Of course not, you know I can deal with that on my own. It's my neighbor, to the left. As far as I know she has yet to make any sort of imprint on the tenants. She's basically a shadow, of course the occasional sighting of her leaving her place for groceries and stuff but personally I have yet to see her. It sucks cause I'm really trying to get friendly with everyone here." I said. Dick nodded slightly.

"I see. Well, you do have that party coming up in a couple days, I'm sure inviting her would be a good way to introduce her to everyone really quickly, and if she just doesn't go then you can always say you tried" Dick shrugged before taking another long swig of his drink.

I thought about it for a minute. The party was on friday and it was supposed to be to celebrate the new family that had moved in a couple days ago, everyone had a party thrown for them, even me, so I offered to take this one.

"Yeah, I guess that's a good idea" Dick chuckled before pushing himself off the counter. He walked over to me and lightly patted my shoulder.

"Of course it's a good idea, I thought of it" I couldn't stop the laugh that came out of me and soon Dick joined in. He walked past me and into my living room.

I took one last glance over my kitchen. It had changed a bit once me and Artemis broke it off, she had always insisted on lots of modern things and when she left, well let's just say that the things she loved so dearly also disappeared with her. Now it was left down to the basics that uncle Barry and aunt Iris gave me. I wasn't complaining by any means though.

I smiled to myself before turning around and joining Dick in the living room. I found him sitting on the couch with a remote in his hand as he put on a game. I quickly walked over, grabbing a game controller off the ground and turning it on before joining Dick.

"What're we playing?" I asked, looking over to see Dick with a small smile.

"Mario kart, and I am sooooo beating your a-"

I cut him off by hitting him on the arm. "In your dreams Grayson, you're about to be crushed" He chuckled before pulling up the game.

I was so gonna destroy him.

2 hours and 8 sets later and we were sitting at a tie. Dick didn't stay around for the tie breaker though, he had received a message from the bat to hurry home. Of course Dick was upset but nothing we could really do. He'd left soon after some goodbyes, taking another bottle of my gatorade with him.

It was late out now, the dark sky making my little home seem that much brighter. My eyes were heavy from sleep deprivation and I knew that I needed to sleep soon. I stood up off the couch and turned off the tv, stretching as I walked over to the light switch. A yawn made its way out as well as I turned off the lights allowing for my small cozy home to be coated in darkness.

I walked slowly, making sure to be careful that I didn't hurt myself before making my way to my room. When I made it in I practically danced over the dirty clothing on the floor before falling on my back on top of the bed. I sighed as my body sank into the mattress. My eyes started to shut involuntarily so I pulled myself further onto the bed before my eyelids became too heavy and before I knew it, I was out.

--------------------------------------------

*Thump*

I turned to the side as a loud thump came from the next place over.

*Crash*

Another loud noise came from the other side of the wall and I groaned as I sat upwards. My eyes begged to be closed again but my curiosity took over as I pushed my body off the bed.

My feet gently padded against the wooden floors, they were the only noise besides from the occasional thump from next door. On the way out of my room I grabbed a shirt and some jeans. I walked out into the hallway, taking a quick pit stop to do my morning routine. Hey, beauty like this doesn't come naturally.

When I finished it had been about a half an hour. The thumping from next door had stopped as well. I started to make my way to the door so that I could find out what exactly that thumping noise was but I was stopped by the vicious growling of my stomach. I groaned as I turned back around to the kitchen. Sometimes this whole speed thing really sucked.

In about 20 minutes time I had consumed around 5-ish bowls of cereal and was now fully ready to go and talk to my neighbor. I might as well take this chance to invite her as well. I used my powers to wash the dishes quickly before walking out of my apartment.

The hallways were pretty empty aside from one of my neighbors named Rylan who was locking her door. The woman turned to me with tired eyes, a smile gracing her lips. Her hair was in a messy ponytail but she didn't seem to mind.

"Hey Wally! Morning!" She gave me a small wave.

"Yo Rylan, off to school?" I asked. She nodded slightly.

"Yeah, I'm a little late so I'm gonna have to cut this conversation short. I'll see you!" She gave me another wave before bolting down the hallway. I smiled to myself as I heard her yell "I'm not built for running!!".

I walked only a couple feet until I was in front of my neighbors door. I took a deep breath, putting on a friendly smile before knocking. I waited a minute not hearing anything, the inside sounding quiet.

I nearly left until the door swung open to reveal a woman in her early twenties, her black hair was wavy and long and gently rolled down her shoulder. She had a white plume of hair near the front of her face that seemed to perfectly compliment her eyes. Her look at first was anger, she quickly looked me over before the anger faded away, making room for annoyance.

I could feel my smile drop slightly as she just stared at me. I wasn't expecting the neighbor to be a goddess, I was expecting maybe an older woman or something, not someone my age!

"Hello?
