---------------Leo's pov:-----------------

Sure I ditched the meeting for a snack, but Jason promised to fill me in on anything important that I missed. So if we think about it, was it really that big a deal?

No. Good I'm glad we can all agree.

Anyways, here I sat, sitting on the counter as I ate a peanut butter, marshmallow, banana, and nutella sandwich. That was until I heard footsteps. I looked up only to be met with black hair, hair that covered the face of the owner, the way her body language radiate constant calm and serene.

Percy?

The figure, while very obviously older, and very obviously Orca held a massive resemblance to Percy. The way she walked after Tartaurs, with tight shoulders pushed back to give herself a more confident look, but her head hung low, like she was trying to hide her face.

I felt my throat close as my mouth moved on it's own.

"Percy?" Orca froze, looking up to me with a blank face. Her lavender eyes staring into mine with an unreadable expression. She blinked a couple times before her shoulders slacked.

Just like Percy's.

Was I going crazy?? I couldn't be hallucinating these similarities.

She walked over to me solemnly, her posture low and defeated. She got beside me, pushing herself in a sitting position beside me.

She was so quiet. So unlike her usual sass. Just like Percy during the later half of our trip. Orca kept her eyes focused on the ground.

She wasn't saying anything. This was too similar to an interaction I had with Percy.

---------------------------

I sat down on the floor, messing with a trinket in my hand. The wires were too confusing, my mind still racing from the recent pick up of Percy. My mind was burning with questions of what could happen to us seeing as though we've all already gone through so much. How much worse was this possibly gonna get was the main thing on my mind that day.

I stopped though as light footsteps invaded my ears. I quickly turned back to be met with the dark sky outside. Who was up so late?

My question was answered too soon as a dark shadow filled my door frame. Percy walked quietly, her head down towards the ground, her black hair, now streak filled, covered her face from view, but it was still obviously her. Her camp halfblood shirt was down to her waist unlike the usual knot in the side keeping it up. And yet, despite how unusual she looked, her posture still held that of a leader. Tight shoulders held high like she was unbeatable.

The same stance that made me slightly fear her. It made her look like a general, the deep and rough scars not helping her case.

"Percy? What're you doing up so late? You need rest" Her body paused so fast I thought she'd been frozen by Khione. It was almost scary to see.

Her face turned to me slowly, her hair parting to the side, to make way for her face. Even in the barely lit room could I make out her puffy eyes and the tear streaks that ran down her face. I felt a pang ran through me as even now she had a small smile on her face.

"Hey Leo. I was just getting some fresh air. You just continue tinkering." And just like that she picked herself back up, her strong posture keeping persistent and her face holding one of someone who wasn't crying.

As soon as she'd come she was gone, her nearly silent footsteps disappearing down the hall once more.

I'd stayed there for a while longer before getting up, deciding that it was too much of an unusual occurrence to see Percy crying. So unusual that I don't think I'd actually ever seen her cry. Rather I'd see people around her cry. Hell I'd been one of those people myself.
