-----------Percy's POV:-----------

"Why is all my stuff in your closet?" I asked, my eyebrows furrowing as I turned to Wally who was sat out in the living room.

Wally turned to me, a strained smile on his face. "Perc, I thought you'd died, it was a bit rough having to look at tons of reminders of you." A small pang rang through my heart as his eyes seemed to linger on me.

I slowly nodded, feeling a bit silly and bad for even asking in the first place, gods knows how this must've been.

I turned back to the closet, deciding my stuff really wasn't that important right now.

On the way back Wally had told me of my eviction, and while I was a bit upset at the loss of my house I knew I shouldn't expect anything else. Being away for 4 weeks isn't exactly a sign that I was still living there.

I nodded slowly, closing the doors to the closet before I walked back over to the living room. I sat back onto the couch, sitting besides Wally who, once again, was watching me like a hawk.

It wasn't more than a minute before he had pulled me into a cuddling position, his arms around my waist as he held me close. While I wasn't mad at the new found clinginess, I knew it came from something awful so I didn't dare protest.

"So you and your mom, did she say anything while you stayed with her?" Wally asked, referring to the week I'd spent living with my mother, Estelle, and Paul. It had been fun and filled with endless nights of movies and absolutely adorable Estelle, but it'd also included some serious conversations between my mother and I. Some of which brought up some things I had to decide on.

I nodded slowly, not wanting to hit Wally in the chin as he had placed his head on top of my own. "Yeah, she'd heard about my eviction and offered to keep me housed there. She'd also told me that I should stop doing anymore hero business, which I don't really kn-"

"You should" I took a deep breath. "I know you like making sure others are okay but with recent scares I just think it'd be best if you took some time off, and hey, maybe you'll find that you like being normal better. You could finally relax." I paused. I mean this is what I had been wanting ever since I'd found out I was a demigod, to be a normal person.

This was my chance.

I felt a small smile rise to my lips. "All right, I guess that doesn't sound too bad." I could almost see the smile on Wally's face as he removed one arm to grab my hand.

"So what're you gonna do?" Wally asked quietly. I played with his hands carefully as I looked down.

"What do you mean?" I returned, poking the middle of his hand as I began to draw circles in his palm.

"Like living wise. I know your mom offered to let you live there but I just wanted to know if you'd considered anything else." His voice was quiet and soothing, this accompanied by his warmth allowed for the ultimate relaxor.

In truth I hadn't really thought about it. While yes, I did mind going back and living with mom , Paul, and Estelle I didn't want to be so far away from Wally, sure he could run over whenever but it still forced only brief moments of interaction unless he was planning on spending the day. Not to mention, living with my mother again at my age? It was a bit strange.

On the other hand what other choice did I have? I could try and look for a new place but then what? A new building without Wally? Yeah that just sounded like a hassle.

"I dunno. I guess I have to think about it." Wally hummed in response, squeezing me slightly as I intertwined our fingers, done playing with his hand now.

We sat in the quiet apartment looking forward to nothing really, though as Wally's breathing evened out I couldn't tell if he'd fallen asleep or not.

My question was soon answered as he spoke once more. "You know, you could just stay with me." I couldn't stop the small warmth that came to my cheeks as I looked up, Wally's head removing itself as I turned around, looking to see if he was kidding or not.

"Really? But what about-"

"I already have all your stuff, and I definitely wouldn't mind getting to see you more often." He paused. "You could stay in my room with me... if you don't mind that is. If you're uncomfortable with the idea then I can stay on the cou-" I interrupted him by placing a small kiss on his cheek.

"I don't mind and as long as you're okay with it then be prepared to see me every day" a big smile appeared on his face as he chuckled dorkily.

"Of course I'm okay with it, who wouldn't want to wake up to such a beautiful lady in the morning?" He quickly leaned forwards, placing a kiss on my forehead.

"Oh no, come here you, you're not getting off that easy '' I let go of his hands, placing my hands on either side of his face as I kissed him. I could feel his smile through the kiss, as he pulled me in closer.

Eventually though we pulled back and I couldn't help but smile at his goofy look.

"You just got yourself a new roomie Mr. West." With that we both chuckled before reassuming our previous position. I really couldn't be happier.
