-----------Percy's POV------------

Luckily Hades and Hestia understood I had to go. Though I was only able to leave after what felt like an hour long hug. But here I was, walking in a massive empty corridor in a massive building filled with a bunch of people dressed in rainbow suits and masks. The weirdest part was that they didn't acknowledge my presence at all, continuing to stare forwards as they held their massive guns with giant smiles on the sides.

My footsteps clicked against the tile floors because the only shoes that hadn't been completely demolished were my iron tipped and bottomed shoes. They held a small compartment on the bottom for a knife but I didn't wear them because I was afraid I'd stab myself in the toes. For the rest of the look, well it wasn't hard to find a black jacket and a white shirt. The rest I could pull together from whatever.

I clinked my way down the hallway until I reached the main ball room. This was where the party was held. I took a deep breath before entering.

The room was much bigger than I'd first remembered it being. Though that may be because of the lack of people. There were fancy pots around the edges with massive plants sticking out of it. The place was painted in white and gold and the night sky above seemed to shine down and make the gold shimmer.

I noticed a painting over in the corner and I felt my eyebrows furrow as this hadn't been there before. I walked over, the clinking of my boots ringing out in the room, echoing around me and creating an eerie feel.

I knew I was supposed to meet Joker here but he never really said when. Maybe his name was serious and he was kidding about the whole thing, in which this would be a very bad thing.

I neared the painting and I could feel my confusion and worry growing as a massive photo of a man in a red helmet sat, his brown jacket over top of a black suit with a massive red bat on the chest. There was a small metal plate underneath the painting, and even through my dyslexia I could see a set of time dates.

I felt a bad feeling growing in my chest as I got closer, stopping a step or two from in front of it. The man in front of me had his face covered by a red hood, but even worse, it was covered in paint, a massive smile and J covered his face and above it.

"Ah! Orca! I'm glad to see you make it!" I turned quickly, watching the green and purple man approach me. He entered where I'd come through, therefore being a very far distance away.

"Yeah" I said flatly, watching him approach me.

"I watched you get crushed on the tv, even after saving the mother and child from the "Heros" you still managed to get pinned as the villain. Apparently they're saying you used the civilians as hostages." He smiled though I couldn't tell if he had no other emotions or if this was his way of mocking the news.

"I didn't know if I'd get out of there alive" I said quietly, looking off the side to avoid eye contact.

"Right well, I do hope that it wasn't all for nothing" He said with an almost alluring voice, it was almost like bringing a bug towards a bright light.

"Yeah" I said quickly, I held my hand up to the necklace, taking the diamond out and holding it out to him.

Joker erupted in a massive fit of laughter as he grabbed the diamond from me, examining it closely.

"I knew you could do it! Even underneath the YJ's nose!!" He let out another round of cackles that made me cringe back.

"Thanks for the confidence...mannn..." I said with a sort of half smile, putting everything I could into making it look at all confident.
