------------Percy's POV:-----------

I could feel my blood stop suddenly, Wally's eyes were facing behind me and he looked calm. I desperately wished we could switch emotions.

"Percy, is that you?" Wally looked at me, looking to me, to my mother, then back to me once more. He wanted me to turn around.

I decided to trust him, I took a deep breath, ignoring the pounding in my chest as I stood up. I turned slowly to come face to face with a face I've wanted to run back to more times than I can count.

Her eyes were wide and I could see the tears pooling. I opened my mouth, words that I've wanted to tell her for years building on the tip of my tongue but as soon as I found my voice they all died off, disappearing faster than I could collect my thoughts.

"I- uh," I panicked once more and I'm sure I looked like a deer in headlights. She hadn't changed much, her eternal grace looked to have continued to work. The only major difference I saw was the increase in white in her hair but nothing more.

She went to move towards me and I couldn't help but freeze, expecting a slap or a push away. I closed my eyes preparing for the rejection but instead I found warm arms wrapped around me, a warm liquid appearing on my shoulder.

I'm not sure why I underestimated her so much.

I barely noticed the blurriness of my surroundings as I wrapped my arms around my mother, warm tears quickly exiting my eyes as I held her tight.

"Persephone Jackson, where in the world have you been!?" She asked quietly, trying desperately to sound stern but her welcoming kindness broke through. I couldn't respond as I was afraid if I opened my mouth again it would just come out as a gurgled mess of half formed words and sobs.

Some must've escaped though as she pulled me closer. "Shhhh. You're back!" She gently rubbed my back as I released the sobs into her shoulder, though I could hear some of her own.

"I'm" I struggled to get the words out through my struggling breathing "I've missed you so much!" I cried, though I tried to keep myself from breaking down completely.

"Sally? Is everything alright?" A familiar male voice spoke up, one that single handedly got me through highschool besides Annabth's persistence in tutoring me. The voice paused, and I could practically hear the awkward silence.

Not even seconds later I felt more arms wrap around me and another wave of tears presented themselves. The hug was warm and relaxing, even though it was over flowing with various emotions. I felt the both of us get picked up as a chuckle escaped my lips, breaking through my mess of sobs.

We stood there for a while before I was set down and I backed out of the hug, finally getting a clear look at Paul as I wiped the tears from my face.

"Percy, where have you been, we thought you were dead?" Paul asked as my mother recollected herself.

"I've been in Key stone, though I've moved around a bit." This didn't seem to be a sufficient response as they looked like they wanted me to continue. I gave in, opening my mouth to continue but was cut off by a small voice.

"Mama? Papa?" I felt my blood stop for what felt like the hundredth time today as I looked down, a small person emerging behind Paul and my mother. Her warm hazel eyes looked up at me in confusion and slight fear, I'm sure the countless scars on display weren't helpful. That was assuming she was clear sighted.

This was the least of my concern though as I watched my mother pick up the small girl, resting her on her hip as she gave me a small smile.

"Percy, this is Estelle, Estelle, meet your sister, Percy." I think I took a step back as the load of information swirled in my head making things a little hard to comprehend. I felt a hand appear on my back and I looked over to see it was Wally with a smile.
