Third person's pov:
(Y/N) whipped her head to the other side, her hair flying in the direction of the wind caused by a gush of air which glowed in a yellow color. She turned to look at Winwin apologising to her, who was actually practising his power and she acknowledged it. The superhumans were gathered in the forest, practising their powers to use it within an hour. Yes, it was the day the eclipse was calculated to take place. And there wasn't any assurity that the queen would show up right at the peak of the eclipse. So they were prepared for the worst.
(Y/N) was dying inside but she maintained her posture. Her hands were trembling but she hid it by clutching onto her long coat. Back in the human world, she once used to take some pills for her anxiety problems but it was cured long back. She feared that dreadful thing was returning again, now that the queen was ready to slaughter off the superhumans like cattles.
Yuta walked towards (Y/N) after having a little talk with Taeyoung. He placed his hand on her shoulder making her turn around. "Don't worry... I'll-" he proceeded to say but she immediately yanked his hand away. Yuta looked at her in confusion with his eyebrow raised.
"Don't try to do anything stupid. Remember it goes according to the queen's wish." she said and walked away from him, not able to stand there anymore. She hid the fact from him that she saw herself dying in her vision. Fearing he would sense something is fishy, she needed to create a proper atmosphere for him to believe that she wasn't keeping any information from him. Yuta looked at her walking away. Thinking that such a behavior was obvious when they'd be encountering a dangerous situation, he let it off.
The sky grew darker by the time. As if it was the cue, Alex activated protection shields around everyone present in the forest. But within no time, the shields disappeared all at once leaving them dumbstruck. Everyone looked at Alex in confusion probably thinking he inactivated it, because he also has the power to do so. The look of terror in his face made them realize that he was as surprised as they were.
"S-She's here." (Y/N) stuttered as she looked up to the translucent, dark body forming out of nothing in the sky. There was a look of terror in everyone's eyes. None had expected to be in such a situation again where they would encounter the threat to their lives. Although there weren't any Creeks this time, the Queen alone held enough power to spread fear in the atmosphere.
For a moment (Y/N) looked at her with pitiful eyes. It wasn't exactly her fault though. Well... It wasn't exactly anyone's fault, none could be completely blamed for whatever happened. But why was the Queen the only one who was looked down upon for creating such a mess?...... Because she wanted others to feel the same pain she felt. As a human who has went through struggles, it's basic humanity that they don't wish the other person to go through the same struggles. But she did. That's what makes her the bad person. The look on (Y/N)'s eyes changed from pitiful to showing rage. The same rage which was seen in the first female Yokai's eyes when she killed Queen Arachne.
The spirit of the queen formed in the sky remained glued to the same spot. (Y/N) was confused on how they would fight her. But the look of confusion on her face changed into a look of horror when she dodged a branch flying to her direction with her power. "Elena...." (Y/N) heard Jason's voice trail off as he looked at the said girl with confusion.
"What the hell are you doing Elena?" Yuta jumped in front of (Y/N) in an attempt to protect her, as he looked at Elena with a shocked expression. But the latter had the same expression plastered on her face too as she looked at her palms which used her power to throw the branch in (Y/N)'s direction.
"I-I'm sorry... I j-just don't k-know how it happened." Elena tried her best to explain that it wasn't intentional through her eyes only. She clutched her head tightly, not believing that she tried to attack her best friend. That's when they heard the queen's evil laugh as she witnessed the situation from a safe spot up in the sky.
The superhumans wouldn't be able to control their powers because I'll be controlling them. (Y/N) remembered the words of the queen she had heard. There was no wonder why a war was occurring without enemies. If the queen could control their powers then that means.......
"Shit!! This means we would be fighting among ourselves!!?" Doyoung screamed loudly, unable to believe the queen's strategy. Others which had no clue about what was going on, put on frightened faces after taking in the information from Doyoung. "W-We wouldn't be able to control our powers..... Even though we're conscious, we'd unintentionally hurt each other, because she's controlling us. Damn it!!" Doyoung kicked the ground in frustration with dust flying around him.
"I never expected this... This is even worse than getting killed by the Queen. After all this time.... How can we hurt each other? It would have been better if we hadn't met-" Yangyang's voice was cut off with a loud thud.
Everyone's head whipped towards Alice, who laid unconscious after hitting her back on a large tree due to a blow sent by Jaehyun when he swung the tree trunk. It wasn't even a second, everyone had started attacking each other unwillingly. Xiaojun had petrified three people by the time. Ten was almost destroying the whole forest with his optic blast. (Y/N) and Yuta could see their friend's faces in vain. The feeling they felt when they had to kill each other made them part their ways in order to make it easy for them. But their friends didn't even get the chance to think about it.
I wouldn't die unless I see one of the Yokais dying. These words repeated in (Y/N)'s head as she clutched it tightly. That's right. There was no way they could defeat the queen as she was nothing more than a spirit. Now that (Y/N) knew she would be the one dying, she didn't have to delay it anymore. It could end all at once. It would just be a few seconds and it'll all be over. She could prevent more harm on her friends by making it faster.
(Y/N) was snapped out of her thoughts when she saw Mark flying to the ground unconscious due to the explosion created by Sungchan. "H-Hyung.." the latter was on the verge of tears whereas Mark showed no signs of movement as he laid on the ground.
"Mark!!!" Yuta screamed and made an effort to run towards the boy but stopped in his tracks. He slowly turned around to look at (Y/N) who stood a few feet away from him. His hands trembled as he took hold of the revolver which was in his pocket and pointed it at her. His expressions were dark making it impossible for (Y/N) to figure out what he was thinking. All he knew was he has to end it. The eclipse was reaching its peak, the moon about to cover the sun.
(Y/N) unwilling picked up a handgun which was on the ground and pointed it at him. The look on both their faces showed a mix of love and fear. The queen on the other hand was anticipating for the outcome of their actions. The eclipse was reaching its peak and it was only few minutes until they fire.
The queen was enjoying the most which made her stop controlling the other superhumans. Everyone were now looking at them with horror filled expressions.
Yuta slowing started moving forward, his fingers wrapped tightly around his revolver.
On watching him advance, (Y/N) immediately pulled the slide on top of the gun with her left hand, in an attempt to make him believe that she was ready to fire too, although she knew the result of it. She saw herself dying and it could happen at any moment now. And she was ready for it.
Within few minutes there was a loud sound of the shot echoing in the forest, right at the time when the moon had completely covered the sun. A tear escaped through (Y/N)'s eyes as she dropped to the ground on her knees, looking lifeless. The exact scene which she had seen in her vision, now played in front of everyone.
