13. Search

(Y/N)'s pov:

"You don't seem pleased by my presence." Jason gathered the courage to speak up after a long time, probably feeling awkward with my disgusting stare. The moment Elena informed him that she met a set of superhumans here, he booked a flight ticket from New Zealand to Melbourne. Must be a rich ass. I thought. Elena applied for a short leave and stayed here along with us, to get back to Neo City soon. Everyone seemed too excited, I wondered if they'd feel the same after knowing the truth.

"I'm least interested in being near you. I only tolerate you because of Elle. But I wonder if I'd be able to keep up with her too." I replied, earning a chuckle from him.

"It would take ages for us to get on good terms, I guess." he said, to which I snorted.

"I would rather die early." I snickered at him, earning a pinch on my arm by Elena. I scooted away from her and placed a pillow between us, trying not to invade her precious time with her boyfriend. Jealous? Of course I wasn't. I intentionally ended everything with Yuta and I wasn't interested in relationships anymore, so I couldn't care less being around a couple.

"Who's coming to the airport to pick up Mark?" Kun asked, as he looked around the room, but no one raised their heads, pretending they didn't hear him. He let out a small sigh and picked up his coat. "I'll go get him then."

Kun walked out of the room. The once silent room started the commotion again. We were all busy searching for all the deserts in the world, which seems similar to what I saw in my vision. "So... Explain us what exactly you saw in that vision of yours." Doyoung asked, as he had a pen and paper in his hands to take down notes.

"Sand dunes, Cactus and sun." I said earning grunts from the whole room.

"You think we don't know that?" Jungwoo asked in an irritated tone and pushed me towards Yuta. "Punishment for not cooperating. Team up with that Cold Dog of yours and search for that place." he said as he made me sit on the chair beside Yuta. The latter seemed unaffected by my presence, but I was least interested in teaming up with him.

I looked over to the computer he was using and my eyes widened. He was playing league of legends the whole time, while we worked our asses to find that spot. I immediately closed the screen while he struggled to get the mouse from my hands. "Wait-Wait.... Shit no. I was about to win!!" he screamed. Everyone looked towards him with a confused look.

"Shut it, or else I'll get you teamed up with Dylan." I said, clearly knowing the fact that he hated the said boy. He looked away, muttering something which went unnoticed by me. I scrolled through the number of pictures, in the hopes of finding something similar to what I had seen. I would be the only person to recognize it, so it felt like I was burdened with the whole job.

On looking at those pictures, the same old flashes of my vision started playing in my head. Something felt odd, when I remembered the scene. "Search for a two way signboard and an oasis." I said immediately, once I recollected my memories.

"A two way signboard in a desert? Is that a joke?" Lucas asked in a sarcastic tone.

"That's what makes it unique. A two way signboard right in the middle of a desert, with an oasis behind it. Between the signboard and the oasis is the cave, but as it is something only superhumans can see, it won't be visible in these photos. So search for a photo with a signboard and oasis." I said, as I clicked few other pictures.

Yuta placed his hand on top of mine, making me look at him. One thing was sure, we both weren't totally happy with getting back there, but whatever was coming for us, we have to face it. It seemed like he read my thoughts as he kept looking at my face, and then retrieved his hand.

It took about an hour, we were all busy searching for the said photo, until Chenle screamed from the corner of the room, making Jisung cover his ears who was sitting beside him. "I got it! I got it!! Wait... I'll forward it to you all." he beamed and quickly started clicking on the screen.

I felt my heart pounding, not because of Chenle's scream but because of the fact that it would turn out to be the real cave I saw in my vision. As expected, it had the signboard and an oasis right behind it. "Where is it located?" Yuta came closer, taking a look at the picture.

I did some websearch and after few minutes, we found the location. My eyes widened on seeing it and I was sure everyone were surprised too. "Docklands? Where is it?" Yuta gave a questioning look, as everyone including me, gave him a look of disbelief.

"Why do you even exist?" I asked in an irritated tone. After noticing the unawareness in his face, I let out a deep sigh and said. "Right now we are living in Docklands."

Reality hit him as he looked away, trying to hide the embarrassment in his face. "So..... Everything started from the place where you live, or to put it right, the place where the female Yokai lives." Jeno stated, earning nods from everyone in the room.

Just then the door opened, revealing a tired Kun and a hyper Mark, followed by another person. But I couldn't see them because Johnny's tall stature was standing in between us. Only thing I noticed was Jaemin stumbling and running towards the person to give them a hug.

Fortunately Johnny felt disgusted on seeing them so he sat down continuing whatever he was doing and letting me get a better look at the person. I would have said my eyes were seeing wonders if it wasn't for Jaemin reacting so soon. Ray stood there right in front of me, now hugging Elena with a big smile on her face.

"At least a smile would suffice." she said as she walked towards me, while I sat there with my mouth agape. I slowly got up to embrace her. Although it had only been a month, it felt like we were separated for ages.

A little pep talk was needed for sure, but Taeyoung kept interrupting in between so that we could get back to work. "If I had known you were coming, I'd have come to pick you up at the airport." Jaemin said as he sat beside Ray, happiness spread across his face. Kun whispered something into Mark's ear and as if it was his cue, he jumped up and started chasing Jaemin, probably for not showing any interest in coming to pick him up from the airport.

Mark had been to Vancouver and had met Ray there. When he had to return to Australia, he brought her along with him to complete our sqaud. Ray was informed about the whereabouts of the Cave without any delay. "What do we do now?" Yangyang asked, as he rested his chin on his hands.

"Just wait...... Wait for everyone to gather. Because one thing we know for sure is that they would all have to gather in Docklands only." Taeyoung said as a matter of fact. I trudged over to the window beside me, thinking if I should let them know about the diary I had. At least I should let Yuta know about it. I thought.

I have no idea if there is a desert in Docklands, so Pls don't come at me for it. It's all fictional!! :'(
