(Y/N)'s pov:

The Chief walked past me, without noticing my figure as I was hiding behind the pillar. He had to attend a meeting with other staff members. I thought this was the best opportunity and I have to seize it. As I heard the noise of his footsteps fading away, I decided it was time and tiptoed to his office door. After opening it slowly, I peeped inside to check if anyone was present and then stepped in.

As expected he had a huge shelf full of books, ones I never saw in the library. I slid open the glass door and picked a book. It looked old and weary. I dusted it off and turned through the pages only to find it was hand written. Most of the books there were handwritten. It seemed like someone wrote it as a personal diary. The title in one of the books read 'The Revenge.'

Just as I was about to open the book and read further, I heard a small creaking sound of the door opening. I immediately hid behind one of the huge book racks. Although I was sure I heard a noise, there wasn't anyone who entered the room. I scanned the room completely before walking out of my hiding spot. Must have been the wind. I thought.

Few pages of the book contained the powers Queen Arachne has but what was after that seemed like something which would catch one's attention. The grudge Queen Arachne held against someone. That explains the title of the book. But there wasn't more information on what grudge it was. Half of the letters weren't seen clearly which made me think how long these books were preserved here. Also the language of the books differed slightly.

As I was about to pick another book to read, I heard some footsteps growing closer to me. Without letting it off this time, I used my power to see through the wall of the office only to find the Chief walking this way. Unsure of what to do, I immediately pushed the book inside the shelf, closed the glass door and stepped back, turning myself invisible.

For some reason I felt bad that I had to sneak into the Chief's office. He helped me learn my powers and right now I'm using it on him. I slowly stepped back, my body turning completely invisible when someone tugged on my sleeve, pulling me towards them. I had to admit I almost fell on top of that person, but before I could make any noise, I felt a hand cover my mouth. My eyes widened in shock when I turned around to see no one present. It felt creepy but I was quick to use my enhanced vision to find the person who had almost trapped me in his arms.

Adrenaline rushed through my body the moment I met his eyes, and without giving a second thought I tried to get up. I didn't care about the Chief anymore. All I wanted to do was to run away. But his gripped around me was firm enough, I couldn't move a muscle. With a look from his eyes, I relaxed a bit, knowing that my resistance would only result in us being exposed.

The Chief had entered the room by the time, followed by a professor. "Make all the necessary arrangements. We need to send them away as soon as we can." the Chief spoke up, handing a file and earning a nod from the professor. "Would you like to check out the pathway? It's all set up. " the professor said. One thing was sure, I didn't understand any of the words spoken between them, instead of the one in which they wanted us to leave soon. The Chief gave a small nod and followed the professor out of the office.

As if it was my cue, I jumped up and straightened my dress, making sure the Chief was at a safe distance away and appeared back normal. I saw Yuta's figure forming in front of me as he stood up and dusted off his clothes.

"Why are you here?" I asked with a hint of irritation in my voice. He looked at me as if what I was saying didn't make any sense.

"For the exact thing why you're here" he said as he moved forward and started looking through the drawers of the Chief's table. "Never wondered you'd be sneaking into the Chief's office. It hurts your reputation." he said giving me an unreadable look.
