Alright, while the next chapter is being written, let's get all this stuff straight.

Senses

I'm sure you'll recall you knowing where Yamato is because you "sensed a Devil Fruit." Well, you can do that, but you can only identify the devil fruit if you've already copied it before. Back in Marineford, when Law was coming towards the island, you're able to sense him coming and you're able to identify that it's him because of his Devil Fruit. Think of it like Haki; you're able to feel it by how close you are.

How many can be used at the same time?

You can only use one Devil Fruit at the same time, as well as powers like Minks, mermaids, and fishmen. You are able to quickly switch from Devil Fruit to Devil Fruit, but you have to know what you'll do first. So, when you fight, a lot of thinking is involved.

Copied Devil Fruits and Death

Like I already mentioned, you're able to sense Devil Fruits. In the same way, you're able to sense when one leaves you (like, when the person you copied the fruit from dies). But the reason that they (normally) completely disappear is because the strength of your power depends on how close you are to the person, proximity wise. Like, for example, your arm can stretch a minimum of 10 metres when Luffy's far away, but can go way farther when Luffy gets closer.

Copying Rules

When you copy, you can copy anything considered abnormal or mythical, something that a normal human doesn't have. Minks, mermaids, and fishmen can be copied, but because it's literally something that someone is born with, then you can't perfectly copy it because that's who that person is. The only time you can perfectly copy it is when your eyes do that thing where the sclera turns into an abyss. When that happens, it's like an enhancement (including with Devil Fruits).

Devil Fruits don't actually belong to someone, personally, so you can copy whatever you want. Skills like Observation Haki, Armament Haki, swordsman skills, and other things that require practice and training, you can't copy.

However, copying also requires learning. I'm sure you know that you only copy the general Devil Fruit, but you can't copy the moves and such.

Haki

It's not really a part of your power, but I'll mention it anyway. So, you have all three types of Haki, although before the timeskip, you only had Conquerer's Haki. The thing about that is that you never actually learned to control it, so it's literally controlled by your emotions, mainly negative ones. And, also, you can't copy Haki.

Controlling What You Copy

While you can't get rid of something that you've already copied, you can control what you copy. You don't have Blackbeard or Akainu's Devil Fruit because of the hate that you harboured for them, you don't have Chopper's Devil Fruit because you didn't feel the need to have it because... you know, you're already human. Also, I mentioned that you can give Devil Fruits... I've decided to change that since you're not going to in this story anyways. No giving, not taking, just copying.

Calling for Help

So, there are multiple points in the story where a copied Devil Fruit just kind of goes off. Well, this kind of thing is actually somewhat unintentional. When the person that you copied your Devil Fruit from is in trouble, all they really need to do is think of you while in said peril. A lot of the time, it's not on purpose. Only once (Marco and the Payback War) has it ever been on purpose.

Emotions

A lot of the time, your powers are controlled by emotions (like not copying Akainu/Blackbeard's Devil Fruit). Sometimes, you unintentionally link a certain Devil Fruit power to a certain emotion (ie. Mera Mera no Mi - anger), and it goes off whenever you're strongly feeling that emotion.

A few other things:
- You're 19 years old now
- No, there aren't any other romances in this story (that aren't canon)
- The whole 'marine being your father' thing will be addressed again, but I'll say this: it ain't Akainu
