So, um, perhaps you didn't noticed, but we've been in the manga for quite a bit now OvO
Puddles covered the floor where I had frozen that CP0 agent.
A cold breath left my mouth and I looked up, a rumble shaking the palace. Kaido is inside the palace. I can sense him.
I would've felt this strange anxiety, but as I looked up, a flickering string seeming to hang from the ceiling, it suddenly began to glow as if it were the sun.
I reached out and touched it. For a moment, I couldn't put my finger on who's string it was.
And it was if the sky had opened. It felt like rubber, glowed like the raging sun, a laugh echoing through my ears. My eyes widened as the memory flashed before me.
"This is Foosha Village." Garp said. "And that," He pointed to a small boy with a straw hat and a scar under his eye. "is my grandson."
I let go of the string as it disappeared. "Luffy...?" A small smile crept onto my face. "Damn... full of surprises like always, huh?"
My feet carried me to the dome once again, where Law and Kid stood.
"You look pretty damn giddy for someone who just lost their brother." Kid said.
I laughed a bit. "I didn't lose anything." My eyes travelled to the sky.
A giant fist reached into the dome and grabbed Kaido as if he were a common snake. As he was pulled out of view, my head tilted. "Is it just me, or was that arm a lot bigger than what Luffy's arm is supposed to be...?"
Law stared.
I laughed a bit. "I'm kidding."
"When will you become an adult, huh?"
"Maybe you just became an adult to quick." I pulled my arm across my chest. "Alright, finish up with things here, I'll go help out those who are injured."
Flames scorched the palace and smoke filled my senses, both in my sight and my nose. I coughed a bit and took in a breath. "I should be immune to this, dammit."
I've heard of Fish Men being able to control or even develop water. Despite being trained by two different Fish Men throughout my life, I never learned how to do the latter.
My eyes shut and I felt my vision flicker for a moment. I met Hamlet for like... a few seconds, but perhaps I could see through his eyes and see where Usopp was with Kiku, Izo, and Kin'emon.
And, by some miracle, I saw it.
I ran through the halls of the castle until I got to the basement. "Usopp!"
"Y/N! How'd you get through the fire?"
"My boyfriend is literally flames, my brothers are diamond, a Phoenix, and a Fish Man, you think fire is actually a weakness of mine?"
"...Right." He pulled back on his slingshot. "Special Attack, Green Star: Sprinkler!"
It worked for a few seconds until it was swallowed up by fire. "Don't worry, Ace has burnt down enough buildings for me to know what to do." I locked my fingers together and stretched. "Alright, let's hope this works."
"Hope it works?!"
I shrugged and outstretched my hand. Ice formed and swallowed up the fire and a vapour filled the air. "Aye, it worked!"
Usopp was likely one of the more logically-inclined people on Luffy's crew. So, me using my brain as if I were Luffy probably further encouraged the idea of us being blood related.
