Ace and I were seated on Ace's boat, following the large pirate ship Luffy had.
"I wonder where he got it." I wondered, knowing Luffy would never conjure up that much money in such a short time. "Does it look as good as Oyaji's does?"
Ace gazed upon the large ship and shook his head. "Never in a million years."
We approached the bottom and I leaned on the small mass, listening to Luffy's conversation with his crew.
"Oh yeah, Ace used to beat me up all the time, while Y/N would keep score. He totally had a crush on her though. Now, I'm sure I can beat him."
"Are you sure about that, Luffy?" I floated up behind him and put my hand on his shoulder. With a yelp, he fell over and Ace jumped up next to me.
I kneeled over the ship's railing and smirked. "You didn't do such a great job beating those marines earlier."
Ace laughed. "Now, what's this about beating me in a fight?" I smiled and swung my legs over the railing. "What do you think, Zoro? Can he beat my boyfriend in a fight?"
The green haired one, Zoro, eyed me curiously. Kind of expected, in all honesty. "How do you know my name?"
"Oh, I've heard Luffy mention your—"
"BOYFRIEND?!"
I looked over at Luffy and nodded. "Yeah, what about—?" He bounced around as if he were a spring and stopped right in front of me. "He finally confessed?!"
Ace hid his face behind his hat. "Luffy...."
I gently pushed Luffy away and chuckled. "How do you deal with this ball of energy?" I asked his crew.
Ace lifted his hat. "I hope he hasn't been too troublesome."
His crew shook their heads. "Not at all."
Ace and I looked at each other, then at them. "Are you sure...? There's no need to lie."
They shook their heads again. "He's fine!"
Luffy chuckled, innocently. "Goodness Luffy, you've tired them out to the point that they're delusional." I sighed and leaned on Ace's shoulder.
"By the way, do you want to join Whitebeard's crew?" Ace asked. "You're friends can join too."
"No thanks." Luffy answered bluntly.
"I told you he wouldn't." I said, holding onto Ace's arm.
"W-Wait..." The one with the long nose, who I remembered as Usopp, thought for a minute. "You're... part of..." He looked on Ace's back and my arm. "That's his mark?"
"Yep! And proud of it." Ace smiled. "Whitebeard is the greatest pirate I've ever known. I'm going to help him be the King of the Pirates. Not Luffy."
Zoro had this strange look locked on me, and Ace seemed to notice seeing as he put a protective arm around me. How do I know it was a protective one? Because he pulled me closer to him.
"Zoro, right?" Ace began. "Is something wrong?"
Zoro shook his head. "Nothing's wrong, it's just that she looks familiar. That's all."
"Oh yeah, she's Y/N L/N." I looked at Luffy and sighed. "Sometimes I don't understand exactly how I haven't been caught yet."
Usopp stared at me, his eyes wide and his hands shaking. "Y-Y/N the... copycat? Isn't your bounty, like... higher than Luffy's?"
I nodded. "Yeah... a little bit. But I'm not really sure why. I haven't really done anything wrong... until I flipped one of their ships."
Ace gave a boastful grin and leaned back, nearly falling into the water. "Whoa there." I stretched my arm and grabbed him, pulling him back up.
"Whoa!" The orange haired girl, Nami, marvelled. "You really can copy any power!"
"Well, what did you expect?" Zoro crossed his arms and leaned on the railing. "The marines didn't call her copycat because they just wanted to."
"Wowie!!" I heard a familiar voice and turned. "Chopper! I didn't even notice that you were here!"
"Really? Am I that small?"
My face got warm and I looked away. "A-Anyways, on another note, we should go." I glanced at the ships approaching behind. "Ace, can I do it this time?"
The one with twirly eyebrows, Sanji, stood up straight. "Whaddaya mean?"
I smirked and stood on the ship's railings, lifting my hand. "Room." I unsheathed my sword and slashed it in the empty air, but even though my blade made no contact, the ships were cut into multiple pieces.
"Heat Haze."
I bit the edge of my lip with a smile as I lowered the operating space and put a hand on my hip.
"Ace?" I tilted my head towards his small boat and he nodded.
As I jumped down, I heard Ace say something to the Straw Hats and landed on the boat, looking up at him to see if he had finished what he was saying.
"See you around, Luffy!" He finally yelled and he jumped down next to me.
"You really had to take my glory." Ace joked, wrapping his arms around my waist. "Oh, you do that more than you eat breakfast, I can do it for once."
He buried his face in my shoulder. "I'm hungry..." I put my hand on his cheek. "Okay, okay... By the way, we never paid for that food we got."
I smiled and patted his head. "Don't worry, we'll get food."
