POV Charlie

'well, this is quite the predicament, isn't it,' I thought looking around, the confusion from my appearance was starting to fade, I activated my shield explaining it to block the blazes. I looked down at Dexter, "Dexter right? Oh I shouldn't be here, yet, there said your body was never found," I said.

She looked at me confused. "Who are you," Dexter asked weakly.

"I'm not breaking them, only bending them, a little, Look Dexter, I'm Charlie, I'm from what you would consider your future, And I'm doing something very stupid, but Lyria deserves this," I said.

Dexter face lit up when I mentioned her sister's name, "how..." She coughed "How are we getting away? we're going down," She asked.

As the blazes fired at the shield I leaned down and picked her up, "With this, a time-travelling stone, I don't know how it works, but hay, one way to find out,"

the blazes fire spread to the wood. it was only a matter of time before the fire would reach the TNT, "You're insane, a time-travelling rock? who are you and how do you know my sister," Dexter questioned.

"Look, you have two choices, Come with me and live to fight another day, or stay here and go up with the ship," I told her.

Dexter let out a sigh, "If you're lying," Dexter said, and there was a white light, and we were suddenly on a hill, with a few trees laying about, and the sounds of sword fighting, yelling and screaming.

I laid Dexter down learning her against a tree, pulling out my bandages, "You're a doctor?" She asked, I shook my head.

"Umm, no but I'm close," I applied the bandages to the wound on her head. "I..umm. I should probably catch you up, Quick details, My name is Charlie, I was born on earth," As I treated her wounds I gave her the PowerPoint version of history.

"So we've beaten the nether, and then this Entity, and now the universe has a massive rip in it?" Dexter asked and I nodded, "It really is one thing after another," she said standing, "Where are we? I don't recognise it,"

I held the sonic up and scanned the area, "Umm, not good, I think we went the wrong way," I said, the sounds of the battle still going on. "Looks like we in the past, by about 2000 years maybe longer,"

"WHAT! How?" Dexter asked.

I shrugged, "I don't know, magic time rocks aren't my area, hang on we'll...." I couldn't find the stone, "Oh dear, we might be stuck," I answered.

Dexter sighed, "well at least I'm alive," Dexter answered, "So then what do we do?" She asked.

"Let's see whos fighting,  if we can narrow down the time zone, I might be able to come up with a plan," I said, the two of us climbed the hill and laid down at the two, the battle considered of 4 sides, the undead, the end, the nether and human knights. 1000s were fighting, and a massive yellow portal, where the human knights were coming from.

"The Battle of the end falls, well the first battle of the end falls, okay, that portal alone tells me where we can go, it might be a few days walk from here, will you be okay with that, your hurt, and my treatment will only last so long,"

Dexter nodded. "Come on, I'm guessing we not going that away?" She asked pointing to battle,  I pointed another way and we started off, we travelled mostly in quiet and about a day passed as we passed into the snowy tundra around what will one day be Glacierford.

We were sitting around in a campfire when she spoke, her eyes gazing into mine. "I was meant to die wasn't I?" she asked, I stared silently as I throw more wood onto the fire, "So that's a yes then, If I was meant to die, why save me? out of everyone you could of saved why me?"
