POV 3rd person
a small village, so far, one unharmed by the Controller's army, but the man defending this village was Elite, months ago he spent weeks in the ruins of a village, where the nether opened a massive portal. he was pulled out of the building by a woman with red hair like blood called Maya.
it was dawn now, just under a week since the frostbourne had fallen, and the controller had begun to finish his conquest, and this village was on his list, Elite thought for a moment, and turned to Maya, "remind me, how big are our defences?"
"You and two iron golems," She answered.
"Damn," Elite mumbled, he looked about, "We've got nowhere to fall back to, and an army to fight, Maya while I fight I need you..."
A young man in his early 20s came running over, "Elite, we've got visitors, there aren't listen to me,"
Elite and followed the young man to two young women, one of them in a torn dirty white lab coat, she was no older than 18, long brown hair, and blue eyes, the other in a black tank top, with tight-fitting trousers, she had dog tags dangling from her neck, she had a rifle on her back, and a pistol on a makeshift holster. short brown hair that's started growing out. her face and exposed arms and stomach were coved in scars, not battle scars well not all of them. she was caring a very heavy chest.
"So who are you two? and did you know you're about to walk through a war zone?" Elite asked.
"Umm, hello I'm Elisabeth, and this is my friend, Wolf or Noble depends on her mode," the lab coat woman said. "And well we're passing through, probably going to stay a few nights, then move on,"
'lab coat wouldn't be a problem, but this other one, those scars and her build made it seem like she was old but her face that was a young face,' Elilt thought, "you speak much Wolf?"
"Yeah, I speak, just don't like talking to idiots, you haven't proven..." she dropped the chest, her hand whipped to her pistol and spun around, a bullet fired and impacted into the head of a creeper, "Damn things, worse a jackal," She mumbled.
Elisabeth smiled, "Is there somewhere we can stay?"
a few hours later, Elisabeth was working on a metal helmet, "I should be able to get it working but not in time,"
Wolf finished cleaning her rifle, "Then I'll have to fight with it out it, remember the plan, things go wrong, meet where the village river meets the sea," Wolf load a new magazine into her weapon, "I promise you that we'll find your friends, these defenders, now stay safe," Wolf walked out of the room.
Elite was stood near the village edge when Wolf found him, "I've seen what's coming, I'm offering my help, I'm a good fighter, and even better shot, normal I would a bit more armoured,"
Elite nodded, "You sure? you and your friend can just leave,"
Wolf shook her head, "I don't like running from a fight, I'll fight until the whole village is ash,"
Elite smiled, "Good, I just need to do something, keep an eye on that horizon, that's where the army will come from,"
Wolf looked up at an iron golem, "Made for war, I know that feeling," the golem grunted.
soon enough an army of wither skeletons were attacking, led by Kralos, the iron golems were easier overwhelmed by the pure amount of wither Skeletons, Elite was fighting kralos one to one. and it was not going well.
Wolf gripped her rifle firing one shot at a time, dropping skeletons as soon as look at her, but there were too many even for her, she landed next to Elite, used her rifle to block Kralos's axe. "You again? could have sworn I saw someone cut your head off," Wolf said.
