POV Charlie 

I faced down my sister, one last time, the controller's army gathered around us, forming a circle around us, Lilith raised her dagger, "I am going to kill you, then I'm going to take your sword and give it to my master," 

I moved to a defence posture, "I would like to see you try,"  I said.

Lilith laughed, "you really think you can fight me?" She asked. 

I took a step forward and lowered my weapon, "What happened to you? what happened to that girl that showed me how to play a guitar? or loved to go bow shooting? who taught me how to be my best self?" I asked.

Lilith growled. "I learned the truth of the world, I learned how you started this, HAD YOU NEVER BEEN BORN MUM WOULD STILL BE ALIVE!" she charged at me. I activated my energy shield blocking her attack.

"Lilith please stop," I said. she whipped my legs and fell onto my back, I raised my shield as she slammed against it, "I don't want to fight you," I said. my bracelet beeped. an indication that the power was running low.

"THEN LET ME KILL YOU!" She yelled, the tip of her dagger breaking through the energy shield. "I HATE YOU WITH ALL MY BEING!" She snapped. then someone grabbed Lilith pulling her off me, Ember and Ciara stood there, Ember helping me up. "So that's how you're going to play it?"

Ember pointed his sword at her, "What scared to actually fight someone who won't hold back?" he asked. 

Lilith smiled and clicked her finger, Moon and Kane walked out from the horde that surrounded us, Kane was still in his armour and Moon had the crisscrossing lines across her face, and the soulless black eyes, Ember looked hurt seeing her like this. "What's the matter Ember, don't you like me like this?" Moon's voice sounded distorted like someone had run it through a broken voice box. 

"LET HER GO!" Ember yelled at Lilith.

she laughed, "You won't need to worry about her Ember, Not once she's gutted you with an arrow," Lilith said. 

then a bright white light, and when it faded, everyone who was being Controlled was laying on the floor, the black lines crisscrossing were gone, everyone laying on the floor, apart from Lilith and the wither skeletons, the spell seemed to dispel the Neverwheres, "What is happening?" Lilith asked looking around.

both a red and a blue portal opened, Crystal, Razer, Stella, Meeps, Rain, Abigail and Andrew. "Oh, it actually worked," Razer said surprised.

the Controller, Kralos and Hogsworth stepped out of the red portal. "Well, I see you've beaten..." the Controller stopped as Crystal sent a bolt of lightning straight into him, the ender crystals suddenly jumped host, from Stella to Crystal who went racing forward attacking the Controller. 

"Crystal! Wait you can't take them..." I stopped as a dagger stabbed into my lower gut, I looked down to see Lilith standing there. she pulled the dagger out.

"I WIN..." Her eyes went wide, as Excalibur went through her, I hand lost it at some point and hadn't realised. she fell forward, going slump on the ground, unable to recover from the wound of the ancient weapon.

Ember was holding the sword, now dripping with Lilith's blood, I said to him, I fell to my knees, over Lilith, "I'm sorry, I couldn't save you, I'm sorry, that you blamed this all on me, I'm sorry I wasn't a better brother to you," I closed her eyes. 

I stood up and looked at Ember, "I'm sorry, I saw her stab you and just reacted, sorry," Ember added. 

I shook my head, "No, Ember, you don't need to say sorry, she was gone, the sister I had growing up was dead, killed a long time ago, I...I like to believe everyone is can be redeemed, but sometimes...you can't, thank you, someone had to stop her," I said.
