POV Charlie

I've finished my prototype grapple gun, I would test it later, for now, I want to make a gift, for Rain, away as an apology, I don't know how to apologise to Razer or Kyle. I'm not sure if I want to apologise to them. 

I crossed the wrong wires, and Whoops, a cracking electric blot shot out, smashing into the ceiling, "Maybe I shouldn't be doing this, playing with live wires, when my mind's all over the place," I mumbled to myself. 

"Yeah, it's probably not the smartest idea you've had," 

I looked around the lab, "Umm, who said that?" I asked the empty lab.

"I did," 

I doubled checked, it was defiantly empty, "Ahh, well I'm Definitely going insane, the first sign of madness is talking to yourself, but that's not right, it's when you get an answer you should be worried," 

"Oh your not insane not yet anyway," 

"That's what a delusion of my mind would say," I replied. going back to work. 

"You've got a point, but at the same time, I'm not a voice in your head I'm..."

I used the sonic screwdriver on my psychic dampener and returned to my work, and the voice faded, "Well would ya look at that, you weren't in my head, shame you said that I've only gone and blocked you out, Whoops," I laughed to myself. 'Crystal would have loved that,' I thought to myself. 

Azura walked in, seeing the scorch mark on the ceiling, "Charlie? What on the overworld," 

"Oh hello Azura, do me a favour, uncross the wires on this" I chucked her the bracelet I'm working on. "A gift for Rain, away of apology for umm, the incident earlier," Azura quickly worked and chucked it back.

"How are you?" She asked, "I know the last few hours haven't been easy on you, Crystal and Kyle, I want you to remember I'm here if you need to talk," 

I laughed, "Meeps offered me quite the same," 

Azura smiled going to work on her special project, "as Young as Meeps is, she seems wise beyond her years, and that Andrew, he's smart, not as smart as us, but he built Meeps, do you think we can build a robot with an A.I that smart?" Azura asked.

I shrugged, "I reckon we could but it's the moral implications, do we have the right? to build a life like that, and if we did it, what's to stop someone from enslaving them, it's one of the reasons, I wouldn't do it, I would hate to see them turned against us," I explained. 

"I see the point you come from, but life is a natural thing, even if we built it, an A.I can learn and adapt, make the choices for themselves, merely look at Meeps for that," Azura answered. 

I nodded as I continued to work, "Still, I don't think I'm willing to bring life into this world," I answered her. 

a short time later I finished building the bracelet, and left the lab, on my way to find Rain, where ever he might be, I put my headphones on while I walked, a good way to drown the sound out, I hit play on the old group playlist, the song 'gotta get out of here' started to play, what was slightly confusing, as I don't recoil putting it on there. 

suddenly and unexpectedly, someone ran up behind me and hugged me, I froze for a moment and slowly turned my head, finding Lryia behind me. "Umm, Hello Lyria," I said. 

"Thank you," she said to me, "Thank you for finding a way to save my sister,"  Lyria added. 

'that's something in the end, no matter what happened since, at least I've made someone happy,' I smiled down at her, "Lyria, there's no need to thank me, I try my best to save as many as I could" I said, 'shame I couldn't do it too the people I care about,'
