POV Charlie

the lab in frostbourne, it felt like forever this I last in here, and it took me a good moment to realise I was laying on the floor still, I jumped up, I could feel the blood, from where I was hurt fighting Lilith.

"Charlie, you're bleeding," Crystal said worriedly.

"not now, Azura is in must worse shape than me," I said, examing her wounds, "We need to get her some better medical attention, back to sanctuary, Crystal?" I asked. 

"Hang on, let me catch my breath," Crystal said, I stood up and walked to the door, stuck my head out the door, came back in, and went and sat at my workbench.

I rubbed my face, "How could the plan go so wrong? we've lost everything we had left," I said, "How do we fix this? any ideas anyone?" I asked. 

then something hammered on the door of the lab, "Ahh, I forgot, that would be able to find us," I said. 

The door smashed open and Wolf walked in, her amour covered her skin, but it was clear she was under the control of the controller, she raised her rifle at Crystal, and I grabbed my sonic back from Ember and activated it, freezing the armour of super-soldier.

"What did you do to her?" Meeps asked.

I shrugged, "I simply froze the joints in her armour, they free up...." I stopped, and slowly turned, Seeing Meeps and Abigail, Abigail waving at me, "When did you two get here?" I asked confused.

"We came here to come up with a plan when everyone around us was suddenly under the controller's power," Abigail said. 

"Okay time to be going, I think..." I was slammed into the wall by Rain charging into the room, Arcane blades appeared, and Razer and Crystal used their lighting to try and shoot them out of the sky, Ember and Abigail pulled Rain off me. "Crystal portal now," I demanded. 

Crystal opened the portal, I grabbed Azura, and Meeps lifted her brother, and we hurried through the portal, Crystal wasn't quick enough to close the portal, and Stella and Rain followed us through. 

We were right there in front of Lyria and Shizuku, with the sounds of a baby crying, it was a slightly damp stone tunnel, "Oh hay you two...is that Charlene?" I asked before Rain knocked me into the wall. 

"WHAT HAPPENED TO RAIN AND STELLA?!" Lyria asked. 

"Long story," Crystal said. she turned to fight Stella, but something was wrong, the two had frozen on the spot, while Lyria tried to calm the baby, "Umm what's happened to them?" Crystal asked. 

Alex poked Stella and froze the moment he made contact with her, "Why has Alex frozen, and where's Sheila and the others?"

I walked over to Rain and Stella, holding my sonic, "Shizuku, the...the Controller has them all under her power...I'm sorry," I said. 

"What? we have to help them," Shizuku said. 

"We can't not yet, I need a new plan, we need a new plan," I held the sonic to Rain, scanning them, "Interesting, temporally paused by something...no someone, how much do any of you know about temporal theory?" 

"not much," Shizuku said. 

"Never covered that one," Lyria said.

"Umm, the Master mentioned it once or twice," Abigail said, Hang on Master? 

"I'm not sure I understood half the words you just used," Crystal said. 

"The words, I understand the words, that's all," Ember said.

"How about instead of using us, you just tell us," Meep said.

"Well temporal theory realise on time," I started.
