POV Rain

Today was not a good day, and now Charlie was gone trapped somewhere on the other side of that portal, that we couldn't open, next thing, the Doctor's box thing appears around Sheila, then a few moments later, Sheila walked out with Alex. and the Doctor just straight up leaves, And Something tells me Alex didn't explain to the Doctor what was going on. 

"Hang on? How the f..f..," Sheila growled, "How were we in that thing?" she asked, pointing to the blue box.

Azura sighed as the box started to disappear, "I would explain, but something tells me, you won't understand," She turned to Patrick. "I'll be in my Lab, I'll work with what's data Charlie screwdriver got, they have to be away in, I'll catch up with you soon," Azura said. 

Azura was good at hiding her emotion, But I could tell she was worried about Charlie, they were close friends and work colleagues. She rushed inside. I looked at the assembled group, Meeps was still standing under Charlie's umbrella and I think it was shaken by this. 

Meeps was the only one here when Charlie went through the portal, the only one with an opportunity to stop him, "Meeps, are you okay?" I asked. 

Stella took my hand, "I'm fine, Charlie just seemed so sure, I should have made him stay,"

"Meeps, In the near year I've known Charlie, I've learnt that if he wants to do something, there isn't a force on the overworld or beyond that will stop him," Stella said trying to calm her. 

I clenched my empty hand, 'Please be safe, Charlie, please be safe,' I thought.

"Anyway, you can't be blamed for someone doing something so stupid," Sheila said. 

Everyone turned to her, "Do you want to go back in that cell?" Patrick asked. 

"I would like to see you try," Sheila said, the two stared each other down.

Lucas, the defender of truth, stepped forward. "Charlie's actions were to save your boyfriend, if I were you, I would..." 

"HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND," Sheila snapped. 

Lucas laughed, "You must be trying to fool yourself because the rest of...." Lucas paused looking up, "Is it my mind or is that rip growing?" 

We looked up, undoubtedly the rip was bigger, "What does that mean?" Ember asked. 

"Charlie once said, when the portal that brought him and the other here, would grow bigger and bigger, and when it did something would fall through," I answered. 

"So, does that mean more people are going to arrive? from Embers universe?" Stella asked.

"Probably," Andrew answered, "Someone should keep an eye on that rip, just in case," He suggested. 

"Rain come on, I want to get my mind off this for a minute," Stella said tugging at me. "Let's go and get something to eat," Stella said. 

POV ???

"He's not yet broken, There is one last thing, to break Charlie's mind, bring me the girl, Lyria. Killing her in front of Charlie will finish his mind, his sanity," My master said. he turned to me, "Now, Go and do it," 

I nodded walking out past the cells. Charlie looked up at me, "it was you wasn't it? the one who poisoned Sheila and Crystal? you're the controller's puppet," he asked. 

I nodded, "Now, Charlie, don't you think it's time you submit, it would make life easier for you, you can join us," I offered. he likely couldn't see my face but I smiled at him. 

his eyes narrowed as if trying to see under the hood, "If my best friend couldn't get me to switch sides, what chances do you have?" he asked.

I put my hands on my hood, maybe I should tell him now, No my Master would not be pleased. "Soon you will see," I said walking into the portal room, now which one will lead me to Lyria.
