POV Lilith

"why Herobrine is attacking the village, we must find a replacement for Mortimer, the red legion had a member, Her name was Gwendolyn, she will make a great replacement, Lilith my dear, go and prepare the star, it is time to bring back another, take Ceris with you, it would be quite amusing to hear her thoughts about it," My Master said.

I bowed, "Yes my Master, my a make a request?" I asked. my Master gestured for me to continue, "my brother, when it comes time to use the star, allow me to do it," I asked. 

My Master smiled, "It will be yours," 

POV Charlie

night had come and gone, it was moring, a lot of us were tied myself including, right now I was at the back of the group with Lyria, the young scouts was as happy as cheery as ever, I had hardly had a second to my own since we started but that didn't stop the odd dark thought from crossing my mind. 

"We're still staying out of the undead reach, but it seems their numbers have dropped," Lyria said, she put the binoculars into her pocket.

"Hmm, we should tell the others, it could be some kind of trick," I said, Lyria knocked in augment, we pushed our way to the front, "we're still holding are distance from the undead although it does appear that some of them are missing," I said.

Elite rubbed his heavy eyes, "Lucas how long until we reach this sanctuary?" Elite asked. 

"Several days, it is not an easy journey, and we can not afford to slow," Lucas answered. 

I looked at those around me, Wolf was holding her rifle waiting for a target, she seemed like she was made for war, taller than me, more scars than a bond villain, "You're a soldier then? what war did you fight?" I asked. 

Wolf didn't look at me, "You wouldn't believe me if I told you," She muttered. 

"Well, try me, I was born in other dimensions, I believe anything you'd tell me at this point," I said. 

"Maybe later," Wolf said. 

Lyria went over to Shizuku, "You doing okay?" Lyria asked. 

"Yeah," was the quick answer, "What about you?" 

"Fineish, I miss Hilda and Dexter, I hope they are okay," Lyria said. 

Shizuku was about to say something when groaning and zombies started to appear from the jungle around us, Wolf turned to fire her rifle, water rushed slamming several of them, Elite spun his sword, stabbing 1, Lucas raised his swords. Wolf chucked her handgun to Elisabeth, who aimed and fire missing the target.  Abigail spun the ruby thorn launching forward beheading 3 of them. but 100s were attacking. 

"Charlie that alteravtive? use it!" Azura ordered. she raised her beacon guns, unloading into the undead. 

I unzipped my bag, reviling the end crystal, I twist the sonic to the right setting, placed it the crystal, and activated, Energy spiked out, it latched onto the zombies and turning them to ash, then lightning struck, Herobrine standing there.

the wolf spun with super-human speed, Herobrine knocked the gun out of her hands and grabbed her by the neck. Wolf brought a punch to Herobrine's head, but it did nothing, the undead god, chucking her into a tree. 

"Abigail, Azura get everyone clear," I said. I redirected the energy from the Crystal towards Herobrine sending him into a tree, the energy continued to push on him. I had to continue to hold the sonic to the crystal. people rushed past me, I could hear the sounds of more undead arriving. 

"can this hold him?" Shizuku asked. 

I looked up to her, "Shizuku get away from here,"

"What? Why?" 

"UNDEAD GOD! you could be the best fighter on the overworld and I would tell you to run still, also your sister would kill me if I let....oh," the pitch on the sonic changed, "SHIZUKU GET BACK!" I yelled pushing her. 

BOOM!

a moment of agonising pain, the explosion was defending, I was flung hard into a tree, smoke surrounded us, I no longer could see Shizuku did she get away? I felt my back burning from the way I was standing with my back to the explosion. 

everything was dizzy, my vision blurred, then from the smoke, Herobrine walked towards me grabbing me by the neck, slamming me into the tree. "Any last words?" Herobrine asked, he raised his sword. 

"The chances of anything coming from Mars is a million to onnnnnne, but stillllll they cooooomme," I don't why I started to sing war of the worlds but still. 

that confused Herobrine long enough for me to stab a sword in his hand, as expected he dropped me, and this helps to prove what the teacher said, the wound wasn't healing, I get back from him, holding my sword up in my left hand. my right hand to injured to fight with after still after the window incident. 

Herobrine charged forward, too quick for me to track, he grabbed my left arm and snapped it, I screamed out, I throw a punch with my right arm, but Herobrine throw me back into a tree, my back didn't break thankfully, but it did click. 

I tried to stand, but couldn't get the strength, I looked down, my legs were bleeding, I was bleeding a lot, the blood pooling around me, probably more than health for a human body to lose. Herobrine grabbed me, slamming me into the tree. 

the diamond sword slashed into me, pinning me to the tree, I let out a scream but blood came out instead, yeah definitely not good, "How is it? someone who can't fight, just a simple human, be such a problem?" he twisted the sword. 

I took a shape deep breath, "I...I thought..." I struggled with each word, "Thought...th...the Con....toller wanted me alive," I finally got out. 

"I don't give a crap what the Controller wants, I. WANT. YOU. DEAD. the last link of that pitiful girl," Herobrine said. 

"You know? Crystal must have gotten her looks from her mum because upon closer inspection you're ugly, like really ugly," I said, smiling through the pain, 'yep if he wasn't going to kill me before he is now,' 

he pulled the sword out and I fell down to the ground, unable to move, my coat, my scarf, all of it covered in my own blood. 

I breathing became shallow, and Herobrine turned me onto my back, I stared up, into the blue sky, I could see on the edge of my left eye I could make out part of the grey smoke clouds the explosion generated. 

Herobrine stood over me, readying his sword, Herobrine learned down taking my glasses off my face, I looked up, the blue sky, "pitty no stars, I hoped there'd be stars," I said. then the sword pierced into my chest. many thoughts passed my mind in these seconds, 1000s even, 'maybe I deserve this,' or 'this really is the end,' but one above all else, 'I've failed to save them,'

POV Ember

that explosion was unexpected, I was looking about, Moon with me, everyone was panicking, Abigail was still fighting Zombies at the head of the group. most of the others with her. but no sign of Charlie.

 Shizuku came running up to us, "Ember, I lost Charlie somewhere in that explosion," I looked back towards the smoke in the sky. 

"Moon, Shizuku help the people here, I'll find Charlie," I said racing off towards in, the smoke was still quite thick, I kicked something metal, I found Charlie's sword. Excalibur was written across it. I walked slowly through the smoke. 

I found Herobrine standing over Charlie's limp body blood dripping from the diamond sword. I got ready to charge, to fight Herobrine with my netherite sword and Excalibur. but then from the trees 100s of arcane swords shot forward into Herobrine. he tried to block as many as he could with his sword, but too many. from the trees Stella, Rain, Razer and Meeps appeared.
