I wake up and stare at my alarm cloak as its bearing 6:38 on its screen.Now that im wake i cant go back to sleep so i head down stairs to see my mom on her phone
"This Sunday she told me the guy in the dreams introduced himself."
Who the heck is she talking about? I thought to myself, and then it dawned on me. She's talking about me. And not only that, she's telling someone else about MY dreams, things i told her in secrecy.
"She's not telling me."
"I'll get it today."
"I will and i believe i have a feeling who he is."
"Yeah but, i don't want her getting involved in all this."
"Not if i can help it."
"yeah she's going to a lacrosse game saturday."
"yes i'll be going."
"that I am working on."
"he has a new beta."
"he will help us find him."
"Mom?" I finally say ending the conversation
"Nina? how long were you standing there?"
"who where you talking to." I say ignoring her question.
"um.. my boss."
"ok then who are you talking about?"
"they hired a new employee."
"what is she not telling you?" I ask trying to get more anwers.
"Nina! enough with the questions!"
"Mom?"
"Go get ready for school!"
I run upstairs to my bedroom but instead of getting ready I grab my phone and text Allison. She, out of all people, must know something. Her dad, at least, should know what my mother is up to. My head began to spin at the thought of my mother doing something behind my back... something that involved me.
hey Allison have you noticed anything off about my mom or your dad?
I set my phone down and head to my closet and pick out a simple gray tank top and jeans. who was she talking to? was she talking about me? should I still go to the lacrosse game? my thoughts are interrupted by 3 buzes coming from my phone.
