The Toxic Love (Steve Rogers x Reader x Bucky Barnes )

Chapter 16

I woke up not realizing that I fell asleep last night after our interesting activity that lasted about another hour after they asked me out. I shifted to show I was lying on my back on the bed to just think of what I just got myself into with the two super soldiers that were laying right next to peacefully sleeping.

'What if  it works out with one of them and the other starts to hate ME? Or What if it doesn't work with both of them? Could a repeat of what happened last time, when I was in a relationship with each of them separately? I hope I didn't make a big mistake'.  I hadn't noticed both Steve and Bucky cuddled more into my neck as I rubbed their backs with my thumbs.

As I was thinking about either going back to bed or getting up, I didn't notice that Bucky woke up and tried to get my attention without saying anything as I stared at the ceiling. "Doll what are you thinking and don't say anything because i know you and you are making that face".  I turned to face him and our faces were close so I gave him a peck on the tip of his nose and lips as I responded to him.

"Oh nothing really just about anything and everything" I try to lie so he doesn't worry and tell Steve later.

" Are you regretting what happened last night, doll? Or is it that you don't want to go on a date with us anymore?" Bucky asked, worried that I had changed my mind. " Of course not. I'm just thinking how this would work out , so don't worry because I want to go on a date with you and Steve, okay?". He nodded his head in agreement, finally believing me even though I don't fully believe it myself.

" Why don't you go back to sleep my love"  as I kept rubbing back so he could fall asleep.

Once I noticed that his breathing was uneven I knew he was asleep and Steve hadn't woken up, so I decided to go on a run to my favorite hide spot.  I tried my best to get up without you waking both of them and I quickly changed.

As I was in the kitchen to grab an apple FRIDAY told me that everyone that went on the mission came back safely and unharmed around 4 am. Then I leave to go on my run with my music on to be able to process my feelings even more.

Without thinking I got to my secret spot I found about a year and half after my first break up with Steve and Bucky when they couldn't understand their own thoughts or feelings. It was a secret spot because it was behind a small forest that the compound had that no one knew which made me happy to have a place to myself.

One I got there I took off my shoes to sit my the shore of the lake as I did I just listened to my playlist and spaced out not knowing what to do. Next thing I know is that I'm laying down on my back still thinking if it's the a good thing that I have feelings for both Steve and Bucky while both of them have feelings for me.

Once I came back to reality and saw that it was 12 pm and I spent 6 hours just sitting d thinking. I get my stuff to head back. I was able to sneak in without anyone seeing which and when I reached my room as I breathed out as a sign of relief I heard movement from my bed and desk.

"You alright there doll" Bucky said as my eyes shot open and looked towards Bucky and then Steve who was sitting in my chair. " Yeah Im alright, why do you ask?"I asked trying to slow my heart rate. Both men start to walk towards me as I try to move backwards but nothing happens because my back hit the door. " Because you see Buck and I woke up and saw that you weren't in bed and we thought you were somewhere in the compound but nope" Steve said making sure the "p" popped more.

" Yeah doll, tell us where you were because we were worried that we couldn't find you. When we asked the team they didn't know where you were because they were asleep but Stevie asked FRIDAY and told us that you were out to run."

" Well I didn't want to wake the two of you to go on a run and I usually go on a run. So that's totall-'' Steve interrupted my sentence to say " You usually don't go on a run for 6 hours but whatever ever you say  Y/N ''.

When I looked at both of them they were looking at each as if they were having a conversation with their eyes.

That's when Bucky spoke and asked " we didn't scare you off by asking you on a date right?" I shook my head telling them no " So then is it okay if we took you on a date, tonight?". Steve said as I nodded my head. " Words Doll"

" Yes I will go on a date with you guys"  I said, being very nervous for what's to come.

" All right, how about we meet you downstairs in the garage around 7 for our date?" Steve and I nodded our heads in agreement and they both kissed my cheek before leaving me in shock from the conversation.
