Chapter 43

Tell the whole story that I was Tony's daughter while telling them that I'm also becoming the CEO of Stark Industries was something that I was scared of but we decided it would be better because then people wouldn't ask so many questions.

But in the meantime I have to move into the compound for some time so that dad and Pepper can help me for the upcoming meetings that I have. If I'm being honest it still feels weird to call Tony dad.

Before I was able to control my powers I decided to try and focus on controlling and finding myself because along the way I lost myself so I didn't want to hurt anyone that I cared for with them. That meant that I would text, call, and even facetime Nat, Pepper and dad, Wanda, and Pietro for the first year after I left the compound which hurt a lot.

During this time was when dad and Pepper found out about them being pregnant so I couldn't be there when it was the most important because I was scared that I would accidentally burn someone for not knowing how exactly to keep my fire under control.

After a while I was able to control which made me happy because then I was finally able to meet my baby sister. I would spend a lot of time whenever dad and Pepper needed it . Or even finally being able to spend time with the girls and have girls night out or even days or just spending time with Pietro doing fun things in the city that he yet hadn't discovered.

I think that if I didn't have Alex or any of the X-men I would have gone crazy and shut everyone else out while trying to figure out what my powers were and how to use them properly which I was very thankful for. Now I have to pack a couple bags so they could last me for the next two months because I'm going to spend a lot of time in meetings and working so it would be hard for me to come back to the mansion.

My bags are already downstairs so I'm just finishing getting ready and take a look at the mirrors and see that the necklace around my neck is showing that it has my three rings so I tuck it in so no one can see it.

Little did I know that the X Men would be at the door waiting to say goodbye to me even though most of them should be teaching their respected class or even doing their own work.

"You didn't really think that we would let you leave without saying goodbye? It's like you don't know us, I'm hurt." Scott said with sarcasm but was elbowed by both Jean and Alex.

"I unfortunately know you Scott so that hurts plus it's not like I'm going to be leaving forever it's just two months and they are going to go by fast so stop being dramatic." I tell him as he hugs me and I hug him back.

"You should know that he's always dramatic and he's Scott so there isn't that much for him going" Logan tells me as we do a handshake since he isn't a big fan of hugs which I get. I hug the rest for the team until I get to Alex.

"Are you going to be alright going back? Because I know how everything back then was hard for you and I don't want you to go back to how you were just because they are acting like assholes." He tells me as he hugs me and puts his forehead on him making me look him in the eyes.

"Yes I will because I was able to move on from them with your help which I am very grateful for and I wouldn't change anything for the world. Just make sure you come home to me, mission okay?" I tell him as I kiss his nose as he kisses my forehead.

"Stop being so gross you two" Scott says as he makes fake gagging noises. " I'm going to say this once and never again but I have to agree with Scott, you two are sometimes disgusting." Logan tells us to make everyone laugh.

"And here I thought you liked me for me." I tell him but he shakes his head.

We all said our goodbyes and once we were done Alex helped put my bags in my car and I started to drive off to go back to the Compound to start preparing everything for my upcoming meeting that I have.
