Chapter 46

The Next Morning

I woke up Morgan and Peter coming into my room to try to wake me up so we can all make breakfast for everyone else because whenever I go and visit Pepper and dad, all three of us make breakfast, so Morgan probably just wanted to keep the tradition going. I told them that they should head downstairs while I go to the bathroom and get ready so we can all start to make breakfast together. At first, we were trying to make breakfast but got distracted and had a small food fight between the three of us until we decided that I would cook and Peter would clean with Morgan.

Everyone came downstairs and enjoyed breakfast while deciding what to do for the day so ended up deciding to take the trail that leads to a hidden lake that no one knows about. As I was heading to my room when I realized that this cabin is very similar to the cabin that Steve, Bucky, and I stayed at and said our first 'I Love You that feels like a lifetime ago.

After that, I realized the similarities I quickly went to change into my lavender swimsuit and put some shorts over the swimsuit while trying to put my shoes on to start heading downstairs. By the time I got downstairs, I say that I was the first actually which is surprising because many times I'm the last people to finish getting ready. Since I was the first one I decided that I wanted to get a snack when I headed to the kitchen my phone started to ring so I quickly grabbed my snack and phone to go outside to have more privacy.

Third POV

As everyone started to come downstairs with all the things that they were going to take, they all noticed that once again they were waiting on one person only, which was Y/n. They were all going to sit down until she came downstairs but something caught Peter's attention so he went to the front door and when he opened he saw a smiling Y/n that was talking on the phone with whoever was making her a giggling middle school girl, This caused a smile on the boy loving the idea that someone was able to make the sister that he never had been so happy and to put her back together like if her heartbreak never happened.

Peter kept staring for a bit until she told everyone that she was already outside on the phone but probably waiting for them, causing everyone to be annoyed thinking that they had to wait when in reality she was the one waiting for them.

Y/n still was on the phone when everyone came out but didn't try to hang up the phone because she knew that if both Summer boys wanted to call her it was because they wanted to talk to her. She looked over to see that everyone was already outside and got the signal that they were going to start their hikes so she decided to walk behind mostly everyone to not get in the way.

The only thing that she didn't notice was that Steve and Bucky were constantly looking her away either to make sure that she does fall and trip or to try to listen to her conversation. At this point, they weren't even listening to what Sam was saying or how Dot and Michelle were taking turns to get their attention while still trying to flirt with them.

Both men were still in disbelief at how Y/n was able to move on from them and another man is living the life that they wanted with Y/n by being married to her. Steve was confused because he felt sad that he missed his chance at the same time he felt angry that Y/n was able to forget both Bucky and him while Bucky was just angry but couldn't pinpoint the reason why but he was just angry at Y/n.

They all stopped walking and took a good look at their surroundings enjoying the view knowing that most of them can't go and do this whenever they want because they have busy schedules and it's hard to find the time. Y/n was telling the Summer brothers what she was seeing and Tony knew which one she was talking about so he made a small plan to create more jealousy out of the dinosaurs as Pietro put it.

"Hey, Summer don't you have someone to annoy or something back in that big ass mansion that you stay in? – Oh really well I invited my daughter to spend time with her since you like to steal her from me most of the time and not so I could hear her talk to you. So go find something else to do and stop talking to my daughter." He yells into the phone causing him to look very protective and serious when Y/n, Scott, Alex, and Pepper knew that he was joking.
